Spearhead Point Campground

This is a great place to camp with lots of hiking trails. There are many campsites with direct access to the lake. It is also a clean and we'll kept campground. When we were there the lake water was very clear and the fall colors were just gorgeous.

Well-kept campground with stellar views of the flowage. Water is always available just a couple hundred yards down the road at the glacial spring, though there’s a hand pump within the campground as well. A handful of campsites have their own small docks on the water.

Nice and secluded campground. Heavily wooded. Our site had a small dock right on the lake. There are a couple of spots for swimming. Toilets were well maintained. Only complaint was the water from the pump was a bit cloudy; it tasted okay but I would recommend bringing a filter.

What a delightful campground!! We camped over near the boat launch on the east side of the peninsula and had a great view of the water and felt pretty darned secluded there. The sites are very large, level, and well shielded from neighboring sites. The bathrooms were well cleaned and obviously well cared for. This campground has (P) premium sites that appear to all have direct lake access and piers on them and (S) standard sites that are a few bucks cheaper, but every bit as nice excepting the lack of direct lake access. Put this camp down as another real favorite!!

Perfect for an escape. Not ideal for children. Toilets clean.
Premium sites have private docks. We loved it so much we stayed an extra day. We loved it so much I didn't want to leave a great review in fear of it being booked up all next year. A little hard to find. Park Rd is forest road 1536.

I love this place. I've been coming here since the '70s. It's a wonderful place.

Beautiful campground with easy access to the ice age trail. Fantastic for kayaking and fishing. Loved having our own little pier at our campsite! The only downside is that the lodge at the picnic area is closed.

Great, quiet place, campsites are far enough apart to have some privacy. The stars are beautiful on a moonless night. Quiet water to kayak, and nice trails through the forest.

Most peaceful weekend I have ever had.

We had a WONDERFUL time here with our family! Love that it's pet friendly and offers shade options. The store and lake was great! The owners of the location are very kind as well :)

Large private sites, clean level sites. Small docks for water sites.
