It was a bit of a drive to get here, but it was worth it. The food was excellent, except for the grits. The the ribs and brisket combo platter was great, and the rib plate on its own was good, the peel eat shrimp were excellent as was the grilled mahi. The service was slow, which is why it got four stars instead of five, but our server was pleasant and personable. The reason service was because it was very busy. Highly recommend the place come down and enjoy it.

Hidden treasure. We chose to stop in here because we saved the beautiful hotel Hilton Garden paid breakfast, then add some dollars to get our favourite sea food brunch. we left St Augustine in early morning, driving along HW95 to north about two hours, then exited. We found the best food and beautiful quiet place.

We stopped for lunch while coming north from Florida.
The place is authentic, it has personality with that rustic touch and its decoration.
There are two areas, a high terrace with stairs and the restaurant on the ground floor.
The service and food were great, everything perfectly cooked and tasty (the crispy flounder and Mahi Mahi).
It also has a spectacular terrace with beautiful views of the river.

100% recommended.
We will definitely return.

We loved this place! Delicious shrimp salad with hard boiled eggs and pickles on top of a spinach and salad greens salad with tomatoes, bacon and cheese was my lunch. The fries were delicious, my son’s BLT had a crazy big pile of bacon cooked to perfection on it. My crab-cake-loving husband thought the crab cake sandwich was excellent! It was as big as a burger patty! Beautiful deck and docks to walk around after eating. Perfect local seafood restaurant!

They were understaffed, but the service was still pretty good, considering they only had two guys serving, and it was busy. The prices are a little high, but I guess that's just part of the times we are in. I ordered the crab cake appetizer and a side of collards. The side was very small. Crab cake was nicely seasoned with hardly any fillers. I would recommend this place it is a nice little gem.

Wonderful staff very friendly. The food was fresh and reasonably priced. The calamari was super tender i couldn't stop eating it. The wife and I shared a captains platter and a dozen raw oysters and could hardly move we were so full. Come hungry leave happy. They have a bar side on the right of the main walkway and restaurant on the left side. You can order food or drinks on either side so no choice is bad. The location was perfect with the river and huge shrimp boats parked alongside it.

The vibes on the oyster bar side are really good. We had the crab cakes & scallops and Mahi. It’s was delicious. We didn’t care for the shrimp and grits. It can get a little pricey for a casual dinner but we will definitely be back.

Seafood restaurant right on the river replete with a slew of shrimp boats parked right outside. We ate in the bar area with the outdoor tables and our food was VERY good.
The homemade onion rings are special and I had blackened scallops, green beans and a baked potato. The potato was enormous and a generous portion of scallops cooked perfectly. The bride had the crab chowder which was good and has some spice kick.
Our waiter, Brandon, checked in with us multiple times and the service was a tad slow but good.
Prices are not cheap but what is these days. The scallops were 32 bucks but came with sides and there were at least 10 medium to large scallops.
It's nice to be able to support local businesses.

Cute spot right on the river. We ate in the bar, rather than the restaurant. Lots of character-animal trophies on the walls and 80's music playing. Dinner was BBQ chicken- not a seafood lover. But there was lots of seafood options. More food than we could eat. But all delicious. Highly recommend.

Great variety of Gulf seafood and really good service. Returned the following Monday. They were closed even though their website said they were opened. Probably won't visit again

Went for lunch on Saturday, 4/15/23. We wanted to eat outside, but the outside seating was at the oyster bar next door. That area was full, so we ate inside the main restaurant where there was no wait for a table. We had a view of the river so it was nice.
Food, service, and views were great. Saw a sign, as we were leaving, that said they have live music there, but I can't remember what days.

We saw the billboard off of 95 and decided to check it out. We were very pleased with the atmosphere and the seafood (we got the platter to split...shrimp, fish, calamari etc). Our waitress was very attentive and the view of the water was pretty cool too. We would definitely go back!

We enjoyed the location and setting of Fish Camp! We arrived before the dinner crowd which was nice, after ordering enjoyed walking the front docks and looking at all the fishing boats. Beautiful place during the golden hour! Our salads and soup were tasty! We ordered our steaks medium well, they had good flavor but we should have sent them back as they didn't make it that far! That's on us. Fortunately, we were on the full side already and took them home for another evening. Easy to pop on the grill quick. We recommend Skippers Fish Camp.

Wonderful location! It's a really busy place. There was a long wait. The staff told us to wait 20-25 mins, but we were able to get inside within 10 mins. The main server was friendly and fast. The place had a cozy and warm feel. Table was quite narrow and wobbly, which was a little uncomfortable. The food and drinks were exellent! Especially, the acallops prosciutto was the BEST! Tender, savory, juicey... My mouth is still watering.. Sauce that came with it was also tasty. It was the first time for me to tried grits, and it really went well with food and taste just like porridge, so it was not burdensome. Outside, there is a small yacht dock attached to a nice deck and you can see wild alligators. We saw two gators. It was my first time seeing a wild gators, so it was an awesome experience! Can't wait to go back!!

We both enjoyed our meals... I had the house salad, and grilled scallops wrapped in prosciutto, with fries on the side. All of their house-made sauces and dressings were superb, the scallops were fresh and their fries were out of this world. Hubby had a crab cakes and shrimp combo with a huge baked potato and he said it was all great. The property is lovely; We would have gone for the outdoor dining if it had been a bit warmer at sunset. For a Chicagoan, it was most interesting to see the beware of snakes sign in the front of the property and the beware of alligators sign on the waterfront decks. The water feature includes several very healthy and beautiful turtles of various kinds. The restaurant interior is comfy and casual. The neighborhood is quite attractive, so much so that I wish this place had a slightly prettier name.

Fabulous fun atmosphere with excellent service and food. A friend suggested stopping by as we traveled south from North Carolina. We loved the experience at the Oyster Bar. We shared raw oysters and grouper strips. We each enjoyed a cup of Crab Soup too.

Always a delight to eat here! The service is great and the food is excellent. Highly recommend if you’re in the Darien area. My kids enjoy the large deck to hang out on. You will definitely see turtles and there’s always a gator sunning during low tide.
