Village Cafeteria

We are staying at a campground about 15 minutes from this place and after setting up it was suggested to eat here. It is pretty easy to find and located in almost a downtown area. It is set up just as you would think a carefteria would be. After you get your tray you get to choose your food and desert. We had chicken vegetables and cube steak. We also got strawberry cake. The price was really good for all that we good and the food was great. It is your meat and three country style restaurant. The staff were all super nice and helpful. It was very typical of country restaurant. The restaurant had wood walls and ceiling which added to the look of it. It was cute, tasty, friendly and a great opportunity to visit a local mom and pop place. Would definitely go back. The menu options change each day so we are sure we will back to try some more food.

Food is always great at the village. This was first time I've been in years.

The food here is astronomical and very good price best chicken livers around. I Payed 35.59 for a 2meat 4 veg a 2 meat 2veg and a 1meat you get alot

Great food, great people. Just to add an update, we had a party of five people today and everybody commented on how good the service was how good the food was.

Rode our motorcycles to Village Cafeteria for lunch. The food was great, the employees friendly and helpful. We had a great time. I highly recommend Village Cafeteria!

We were staying at a local campground and the owner recommend Village Cafeteria. It takes you right back to the 70's and early 80's. You grab a tray and your silverware. Walk up to the Cafeteria line and tell the servers what you want. The other review hit the nail on the head when it said they have the down home food all the church ladies used to make. They even bake up several homemade cakes. I asked the lady what type of frosting was on the coconut cake and she said "it's 3-minute frosting the kind your granny used to make." It was the best coconut cake I've had. We just loved the down home feel of this place. Takes you back to warm comforting times of the past when life was slow, good food from your older relatives was plentiful, waiting to fill you up. It's so good I'll probably go back tomorrow too. The ladies working were as nice as can be. Very highly recommend to anyone in the area or passing thru.

Can't say enough good things about this little cafeteria. The food was amazing, the service was great, everyone was pleasant and polite, anything you want is met with a yes or a choice between two positives. Fried chicken legs bigger than I have ever seen, delicious mashed potatoes, green beans from heaven, corn just right to mix into the potatoes or eat alone, peach COBBLER MADE WITH TEARS OF ANGELS!

Seriously, I live 40 minutes away and only ate there because work had me in Cahtsworth. I will return with my family. Pretty sure the chicken has the cure for Covid in it.

Strawberry Cake. Vegetables and meats, breads, deviled eggs, etc etc!!! Note: Wonderful Strawberries texture and flavor by God, The chef must have trained in His kitchen, cake could not have been better. I think a mistake was made, chicken, 2 veggies role and cake less than $ 8 bucks....you best hurry on over

My favorite country food spot. Great food, good portions, nice staff, very clean place.

I have stopped here many times over the years while traveling for work. I really love the quality of the food and service (and their desserts). If you are close by, you will not regret stopping here for your meal.

Wonderful cafeteria style restaurant with generous portions. The meatloaf had a great flavor and there was plenty of sauce on the top.
