Uncommon Ground

We were visiting Medford and wanted coffee after a day of hiking. We found good coffee and friendly service here. We also noticed people eating some delicious looking salads. After day two of hiking, my friend made a hasty return to pick up butternut squash with feta salads for our dinner. On both visits, we sampled tasty pastries. We will both make a point of returning here on our next hiking trip. It is such a pleasure to find a local restaurant like this.

Love having this place in town. Great coffee and food on top of a lovely atmosphere.

I came with my sister and we order coffee and oatmeal, both of which were amazing! The coffee was perfect and the oatmeal was the best I've ever had. The atmosphere was fantastic and everyone there was super friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves a good cup of coffee and breakfast.

Nice local coffee shops. Many times the crème is bubbles and the espresso sour. Not here. The coffee hear was excellent for a person who has had a double every day for 20 years.

Three of us stopped in for a coffee and ended up having lunch. Food was quite tasty and a forgotten item was corrected immediately. Cozy place with a comfortable atmosphere that we would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed the egg cheese and sausage sandwiches on toasted english muffins. The decaff coffee was hot and fresh. Will visit this eatery again soon.

I absolutely loved this little deli. So good, priced right. I had a chicken salad on a croissant. It was wonderful! You get to choose a side fruit or chips. Then I had a diet coke. It was $11.00. Cute little place. Local owned. It is a must stop.

Excellent coffee. Super creative muffins can be found here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I could tell that taking the time to learn a new name of a guest is encouraged. The views inside are beautiful, from the warm-color ceiling lamps to the diverse styles of wall art and down to the black and white, checkered flooring. A great place for the whole family.

There could be a slight bias to this but I believe hands down that uncommon ground is the best coffee shop in the state. A little slice of paradise more people should get to experience. The owner and staff are always incredibly friendly, accommodating and overall fantastic. From breakfast to lunch they have the most delicious food and coffee. Many of their coffees and ingredients are from local Wisconsin vendors and you can purchase art from local artists in shop. They are all about hometown pride while still making you feel comfortable wherever you come from. Do Not hesitate to visit. You won't be disappointed

I am not a coffee drinker. So I never thought that I would be in a coffee shop ordering anything. But to my surprise we ordered lunch there last week and I tried the hummus wrap and I LOVED IT! I went back the very next day and order for 4 meals and 2 coffee drinks and 4 fruit smoothies (not my favorite) for my co-workers and the bill was only $50.00 GREAT pricing! EXCELLENT food. I am a huge fan of the healthy portions and pricing. Will be back!

Uncommon ground? What can I say about it? Well move out Starbucks ever since the new owner acquired it it's gone threw the roof! I love the place! Great food great coffee and the best people in town! Five out of five would recommend to anyone coming threw town or the people that live here.

One of Medford's little gems. This local coffee shop is locally owned and operated. Lots of options for coffees and iced coffees with homemade muffins. You can enjoy your coffee in the main seating indoors or go outback and enjoy the weather ron the private patio. Uncommon Ground is one of my wife's favorite places to visit and one that is worth the drive to experience for yourself.

Tea and food are great here. Small place but it has amazing atmosphere. I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a nice community owned place for breakfast or lunch! Only downside is they close at 2pm.

If you have not had a chance to pop into this hole in the wall coffee shop, you are missing out! The personal touch with meeting the owner and homestyle feel to the cafe is "uncommon". Fresh to order food, and she is willing to cater to your needs. Had the egg bowl with carrots, yellow-fin tuna, provolone cheese, and diced tomatoes with a side of organic olive oil toast (plus house coffee... naturally). Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Definitely coming back when I visit Medford again.
