The BEST homemade chicken tenders I have eaten in years!!. The fried chicken taste like you were eating Sunday lunch at Mama's. The fried fish is crispy and meaty. The fried apple pies brought back memories of the old McDonald's apple pies. They were hot and delicious. The only suggestion I have is the mashed potatoes need some seasoning. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back when we pass back through.

Mom & Pop places are the best and this one surely doesn’t disappoint! Coleslaw was great, tarter sauce was unique and tasted awesome, oysters were fried to perfection. Wife was shocked at how good the chicken livers were. Oh, the fried fish was actually whole fillets of catfish; not cut-up strips. So when you get a 3 piece, you actually get 3 fillets of fish like it used to be!!!

Possibly some of the best food I have ever put in my mouth... The shrimp melt in your mouth. The onion rings are to die for... Steak fingers were amazing too! So glad we decided to stop here... we will definitely be back!

Country Boy in my opinion has the best catfish, chicken, and seafood I've ever had. I always have to eat there when I'm in town. Yum!! Yum!!

Food here is fresh and tasty! Atmosphere not so much, but chicken and seafood more than makes up for it!

Amazing cat fish and best coleslaw I have ever had....I normally hate coleslaw but I am addicted to theirs, best place in Many.

The ladies working were friendly and smiling and so nice! Only thing better was the food!! Best catfish and meat pie and home made coleslaw in the whole western part of Louisiana!! It’s kind of plain Jane from the outside-bit cozy small town diner feel inside-Definitely stop and check it out!!

This is the best place for fried chicken! It is family owned and chicken is prepared and cooked the old fashion way! Just delicious! Try the coleslaw as it is the best around! They also have fish and other dishes which are just as great!

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The fried fish was tasty and not overcooked. Could have used more of that homemade coleslaw and mashed potatoes. Portions were too small. You could tell the sweet tea was brewed from scratch. I plan on returning when I get back in town.

Nice, friendly and helpful staff. The sweet tea was strong and sweet enough. I had the 3 oysters, 3 shrimps and 1 fish plate.The side of fries that came with my meal could have been bigger, if you like more fries with your meal order double fries.

Food is always great. It's almost always busy so go when you can spend a little time. That's not a knock on Country Boy, in fact, it's just the opposite. The ladies behind the counter are hopping to get your food to you. If there were one thing you look out for, double check your order. They may forget the tartar or cocktail sauce but are quick to fix the error. Oh and their coleslaw is just awesome. Love this place and the awesome ladies behind the counter.

Country Boys has awesome food. Menu selections are great. Only thing is every time I get chicken, sometimes it’s seasoned perfectly and then there are times when the seasoning and chicken is too spicy 🌶. I wish they could do some chicken without the spicy 🌶 for those who can’t eat it that way. Just merely a suggestion. And I absolutely love their Coleslaw.

The onion rings were outstanding!!! Very light, not greasy and perfectly seasoned with flour breading and not cornmeal. The seafood assortment plate was cooked as I requested. The catfish, shrimp and oysters are U.S. raised and sourced. The restroom was clean as was the eating area. I definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Quite possibly the best catfish I’ve ever had. We drove over from Leesville to find something decent to eat, and I’m glad we did. They filter their oil every night and it shows. The fried catfish is not greasy but has tons of flavor! If you drive through for lunch and don’t try it, you’re crazy. Well he coming back for more, before we leave. I might try the chicken, too!

Excellent catfish and chicken with crisp coating yet very moist inside. Delicious finely chopped cole slaw and very good fries and hushpuppies. Very casual atmosphere. Worth trying to find it!!

Loved it all. We had the chicken which was good, the fish which had just the right amount of batter to them, the shrimp were the bome, the seafood platter filled us up as well. You have to try the coleslaw it doesn't disappoint

When we got there it looked like a good old fashioned restraunt. The food was REALLY good. I had the fish and my family both had the chicken and we all enjoyed it. Only issues we had was no butter served with the dinner roll and no sweet tea.😭. Overall great place if your wanting some good comfort food.

It's one of those places that's not fancy but is clean and the food is great.

I'm a harsh critic...especially when it comes to food. We just came for the first time and ordered an array of food to sample... fish, shrimp, onion rings, fries, hush puppies, cole slaw. Everything was sooo good. Fried fresh to order. Of course the farm raised his that taste that I don't care for but it was seasoned and fried to perfection, as were the shrimp. The homemade onion rings were my fave. Sliced and fried exactly how I like it. The place was clean enough. People were friendly. It was busy as it was friday night but still our food came in a timely manner. I'm glad we found a new restaurant to frequent on our weekends out.
