Mariner's Restaurant

I always thoroughly enjoy the Mariner I was taken out there on a date for my birthday tonight. The service was excellent the food was excellent and the wine was excellent! We started with the crab and corn bisque soup, did a spring salad with feta cheese and honey mustard, and my meal was the most delicious seafood platter cooked to perfection! The breaded coating on the fried items was just so delish, I just can't even tell ya.... They have a really nice selection of steaks out there, as well as bird, oysters, seafood, soups, pasta selections, salads & great appetizers also.

My husband and I had the best experience for our first time here! We made a reservation for his birthday, we got the best seat for the view of the lake and sunset! Very beautiful and breathtaking! restaurant was very clean and fancy! Very romantic feel and relaxing music in the background! Staff was very friendly and professional! Our waitress was the best and was very attentive and even offered a free drink for husbands birthday! We got our food fast and it was hot and delicious! We loved the boudin won tons and order 2 plates coz they were sooooo good! I also got the rigatoni and chicken and loved it! was a very big portion! My husband got the lobster ravioli and enjoyed it so much I didn’t get a pic coz he ate it so fast! 😝 for dessert we got the bread pudding and it was the best I’ve had! Yum! We will definitely be back! Best restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time! Thanks for making our night special! It was worth every penny and worth the hour drive!

The food was incredible, and our waitress was awesome. The atmosphere here is very inviting, and the view of the lake at sunset was beautiful. I'm definitely going to be a repeat guest here.

Really enjoyed our night! The bartender was great and the food was delicious. The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back. We ate at the bar but will sit outside next time to enjoy the gorgeous view of the lake.

We got there right before sunset. It sits right on the water with chairs, tables and a fire pit. Even the dock has chairs over the water. Wait staff were exceptional. The atmosphere in the restaurant was elegant. The seafood we ordered was fantastic and quite a lot. Had to get a take out container cause we couldn't eat it all.
Their specialty drinks was perfect.
I most definitely go back if ever in the area.

Restaurant was beautiful and so nice. The wait staff was amazing and our server, Slade, was prompt, knowledgable and a great waiter. Food was terrific! Definitely great dining experience. The bar area in main dining room is small, but really nice. The remodel really brought this restaurant up to a five star experience. Sunset on the lake just took it over the top!

My server Kylie was the best! I would definitely recommend her if you want amazing service. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere is amazing.

Mariner’s Restaurant was our dining experience last night (1/6/24) and the food, service, atmosphere, couldn’t have been better! Hugh crowd, but we were seated quickly (without reservations, as it was a spur of the moment decision) and staff was super attentive! Our orders came out promptly and everything was excellent from the wine to the appetizers to the entrees, etc. We WILL be back (and often)! 👏👏👏👏

My husband took me here for my birthday and the experience was AWESOME! The newly renovated restaurant's atmosphere is elegant yet cozy, our waiter was VERY attentive, and the food is DELICIOUS!! We will definitely be returning!

Gorgeous lakeside views and great food. Come at sunset for a romantic setting. Tuna and Surf & Turf cooked perfectly and delicious.

Excellent food and lake view. My only complaint is we ate indoors and were bothered by a lot of flies throughout our meal as if we were outside. Please take a fly swatter and reduce them.

Had corn and crab chowder - excellent
Had lobster ravioli Erik. I thought I would get the same amount of ravioli with a little bit of different kinds of seafood but instead I got a few pieces of ravioli, a large piece of fish and some scallops. It was still outstanding. The sauce was amazing.
My husband ordered steak medium rare and it was very rare.
Still all the food was great.

Everything was amazing! Sierra was great! Get the Texas Bluebonnet cocktail…delicious!

The atmosphere is the cheapest of the hospitality of the place we served the most important fact of the seafood. They can eat while the crowd is wild and they will have been trying to figure out something else to enjoy.

AMAZING!!! I can not believe the transformation to the restaurant. The scenery was beautiful overlooking the water at sunset. The staff was very attentive and helpful with menu selection. Our food was delicious. We chose chef specials of sea bass and the beef medallions. Both choices were excellent! Sipping cocktails watching the water as the sun set was so nice. It had been years since we had dined at the Mariner and I am so happy to see it has come back to life with beautiful decor and amazing food.

What a great place to have drinks and dinner. Charming, romantic, with the best view IN Natchitoches. Lovely bars and also amazing outside area to watch the sunset. Menu is good and food was great! Service was outstanding. Jacob, the bartender was great. I'm so glad I found this gem at the end of my day exploring Natchitoches. Highly recommend it.

We went to a wedding there. The staff was very friendly. The food was wonderful. The atmosphere was the best with a wonderful view!

Lovely location and had beautiful view of the lake. Chris spot on with table service. All our dinners were tasty. Oh, the old fashioned was unique.
