El Patio

I have eaten here twice this week and both times the food was excellent!! On Monday for lunch I got the Many special. It took me 2 meals to eat it all. The taco and tamale were my favorite pieces. On Wednesday, for dinner I had the Fiesta dinner. Also 2 meals to eat it all. Once again, I loved the taco, and Tamale was awesome!! The free salsa was so good and not too spicy the chips were a little dull, but some salt brought out the flavor, and it was very enjoyable!

The tequitas and chicken and rice were amazing. Excellent flavor and the Shredded chicken was actually moist which is pretty rare to find. Most places over cook it then put it in water. The only thing that I would improve on is the salsa. It tasted like it had chili powder in it which is unpleasant.

Very cozy place to eat. Once u can get in for a seat. They stay very busy. Food is all ways amazing. Staff is very friendly and polite.

We’re from Texas m. We stayed in Zwolle for our vacation. Came here to eat in hopes of finding decent Tex-Mex. we didn’t have high expectations but this place really surprised us. Food was just like back home in Dallas.

Food and Drinks

Everything was delicious. We ordered the Fiesta Platter. It came with two plates of food. Could feed 2 people for $10.99. We also got the Molcajete. It was awesome. All the meats were tasty and the sauce was very tasty. This plate could feed 2-3 alone. We also got the Guiso Mexicano. It was delicious but beware, it’s spicy and hot. It’s a red flaming stew. The enchiladas and quesadillas are good too. We started with quest blanco and added meat and guacamole. Quest was a bit runny but still delicious. Margaritas are buy 2 for the price of one. 6.99, great deal. Not strong but good.

The prices were really inexpensive. Family friendly and tasty.

Our waiter was super friendly and attentive.

Ambience:

Typical Mexican testament decor. We sat on the patio and had a great time. Comes with a view and friendly little kittens as well. Our kids had fun feeding the kittens.

Amazing food! Friendly staff - even made some recommendations! I had the pork in red sauce - finger licking good! Will definitely be back!

Chicken Fajitas and the Many Special. food was delicious! The desert was so good! Worth the 20 minute drive from Cypress Bend Resort!

Authentic Mexican Food, no tex mex here thankfully!!! My parents (older gen) were impatient after waiting 5 min during rush and it was extremely embarrassing. I am sorry to the staff there, you all were great and I stacked the plates to make it easier for you all to clean the table. Your service is amazing, not everyone has worked in food and understands waiting on 6 tables at once. I definitely do and apologize for those who are rude to this staff for no reason other than being entitled. Next Ball Tournament there my family will be stopping by again, with a much more generous tip from me!

This is SO MY NEW MOST FAVE PLACE TO EAT!!!! Their QUESO cheese dip and quesadillas is literally in the Top 2 ALL TIME BEST!!

I was concerned before coming after reading recent reviews but my husband and I are so glad we took the chance. This food was excellent and we couldn’t have asked for better service. We will definitely return and recommend you give them a try!!!!

The food was great the service was ok but the ppl were very nice and we were treated very well. If asked don't get the lunch menu get the dinner issue it was excellent and the enchiladas were the bomb.

My Wife and I met our Daughter, Son-in-law and Grandson from Sulphur there last night for dinner and was it every a good choice for us. The Restaurant was very clean, a big A+, the food we had was very delicious and served in a timely manner, the service was excellent and the Staff was very Friendly, courteous, helpful/thoughtful, attentive and very professional. The prices were very reasonable. We would definitely recommend this establishment and will visit it again. One of the better Mexican food restaurants in the area in my OPINION.

As always the food was tasty and plentiful with excellent service. The meat in the fajitas was tender and well seasoned, the chips and salsa were fresh and it was overall a great experience. This is my go to spot every time I visit Toledo Bend for a fishing trip. Will definitely be back.

It was Sunday, and they where slammed packed. I could see that they were shot of staff. But they where about the business of taking care of there customers. We where seated in about 15 minutes, and the food came out on time. They where and are always on there game. They are my family go to on Sunday.

Great chow and plenty of it, great attentiveness, great atmosphere. One of the better ways to eliminate a good appetite. Chips and salsa served with seating are also fantastic.
