Excellent service, amazing food! Our group had cheeseburgers, bacon cheeseburgers, the po' boy, shrimp tacos, onion rings and cheese curds. All of it was really good, fresh, homemade food! Burgers, onion rings and curds were exceptional!

This place was a blast. We stopped on our drive to New Orleans. The seafood platter was very filling and affordable. Everything we had was just perfect, even the ice cream at the end.

We hesitated going in due to the appearance of the outside of the building, but I am glad we did! Best breakfast we have had in the south so far. Price was great and the food was excellent.

The people are friendly, food is excellent, daily lunch specials are great. Prices are affordable. Every reason to eat there & we do every time we are near there. It's GREAT! HUGE BURGERS (don't know what they are called) but they have a huge, tasty patty and lots of fresh toppings... My husband really enjoys them.

Seafood platter has a lot of food and I wasn't able to eat it all. Everything was cooked perfectly.

WAS The Best Philly Steak And Cheese Sandwich!! They changed the bread that the sandwich came on..hate it! I really wish the waitress would have told me about the change and I would have requested the other buns. Said it was French bread. Not my cup of tea.

BEST PLACE TO EAT IN MISSISSIPPI. Good prices, lots of food. Not for the weak or thin skinned. The girls that work their butt off here can be a little feisty but that’s fine by me. The food is great and the only place I’ve eaten, that truly feels like classic ol school HOME COOKING. I eat here as often as I can and I eat as much as I can. Hamburger Steak dinner and CheeseSteak po boy are absolutely perfect. And the ice cream Sundaes get loaded down with toppings and it’s great. I’m getting fat here and I love it. Don’t forget to get your fresh made breakfast every day too. Like I do.

The food was so great. We were just passing through and saw this place . The service was great and the sweet potato casserole was the best I've ever had. Y'all got it going on. We. Really enjoyed it.

The food is always GREAT! I just wish they would get the parking lot fix and remodel the building inside and out.

This is a great restaurant. The steak fries were nostalgic. I also sampled the homestyle hamburger and fish combo, which were both also good. Full breakfast, lunch, and dinner plates 6 days a week with great food and great service. If you're in the area, this is definitely a must try. Thank me later!

Star's is a Hazlehurst institution. They've stayed in business by having food quality that was tasty and decent prices. We had their catfish and shrimp at our last visit. The fish was much better than I expected it to be. We will definitely be back.

Hamburger steak plate awesome!! I did ask for extra onion one time and didn't get them, but I know the restaurant business, so , I didn't complain. The food made up for it.

Fantastic food:. Home taste , hot and served in less time than waiting in line for fast food anywhere around. I would strongly suggest going in to order, but well worth it! I love the catfish sandwich and my husband loves the old fashioned hamburger. No asking ," Where's
the Meat?" It's right there on the bun..with the Catfish sandwich..it extends the bun on both ends! Haw! It's is so fantastic... it's some kind of fine! I would give it more than 5 stars..but 5 us the limit!
My husband's old fashioned home made hamburger , he feels the same about. I won't say that the Burger is bigger than his mouth..as that is a worn out expression abd might cause trouble in our wonderful marriage.
Instead, I will simply say that he eats it at a slant..not the usual vertical way... catch my drift? He always savors every bite and I have never seen a larger piece of beef on a sandwich any where... except 8n a grocery store under saran wrap in a tray for sale!
Their iced tea us absolutely fine as well. I'm sure that the rest of their food is delicious bas well.. just I' m too full to try anything else! If you are locals, I know that you are already great repeat customers..if you are traveling through.. wondering where to eat ... try Stark's

Stopped here on a cross-country trip. Their chicken livers are on point. Chicken strip poboy sandwich and onion rings were perfect, too. Staff is friendly and efficient. Will return if we get a chance.

Wow!!! What a great little place! When we walked up to the counter to order our food, we was greeted by friendly, smiling staff. And the food was pretty amazing as well. The owner came around to check on us and make sure everything was to our liking. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

The breakfast on a bun was fantastic and my husband got eggs and bacon which was cooked to perfection! We are so glad we stopped!
