Wynndale Steakhouse-Restaurant

While visiting the area my wife and I stumbled on this little gem and thoroughly enjoyed it. You can tell by how packed it was on a Thursday night that it is well-loved by the locals but when the food came out we saw why!

My wife had the 6-oz sirloin and it was cooked to perfection! I had the Applewood cheddar burger on a sourdough bun that was absolutely perfect with just the right amount of tangy sweetness in every bite!

The glasses were huge and never emptied because even though the restaurant was full the wait staff paid close attention to us. We both had half-and-half tea which was perfectly proportioned every time. And the fudge brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and more hot fudge with two spoons was the perfect dessert to wrap up the night!

All in all, this was a wonderful find we're so happy we stumbled upon

Steak and shrimp omg so delicious. Steak medium well is so tender and seasoned so well. The grilled shrimp skewer that comes with it is plentiful and seasoned on point. It even comes with a salad and another side. I got the potato and once again another hit. I drive all the way from Jackson for this order. Love the customer service. I called in 4 orders on the way and it was ready upon arrival and the place was packed. That's commendable. Will definitely be back and my go to place for a great steak and potato.

First time eating here and the food was great. The sirloin steak tips and shrimp were seasoned perfectly. The country fried steak was prepared just how I like it not fried to death! It was just right and the white gravy even better. I don’t even want to mention the corn on the cob and rolls I should have gotten two. Great food!

This was the best dining experience my family has had since we moved to MS earlier this year! The sampler platter was great so all my kids could try the appetizers, the fried green tomatoes and the garlic knots were our favorites! Our sirloins were tender, flavorful and cooked perfectly. The price was right and I felt like the food was worth the cost. Our service was excellent and the atmosphere is casual which is perfect for my family of 6! We will definitely be back!

Food on menu on point. The atmosphere could be better, it’s always cold. It’s not very inviting but hey, it in the country. The Salad bar doesn’t ever have spinach. Iceberg isn’t all that great nor healthy for you. Pricey steaks but very good. My last bill was almost $100.00 for ribeyes (2) and a burger. Overall nice employees and a great grill master and exceptional chef Ann’s cook. The mixed vegetables were cooked just right.

Wynndale has the best steaks! And the prices are very reasonable. It's not an upscale place, but the fine folk there are real down to earth hard working people. They are always friendly. Our waitress was Great! Her name was Brandy (blonde Brandy is what they called her). She was super busy, but didn't skip a beat on taking care of all her tables. I got a porterhouse steak on this trip. I usually get the T-bone, salad and baked potatoe. If you haven't been there you don't know what you are missing.

We’ve been here twice. Both times my steak was excellent and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Highly recommend this place.

I had a $75 Steak just a week before the bone-in ribeye here and it was just a good. No white table cloths or $20 drinks but the steak is top notch.

For $30 I received I monster size Porterhouse, cooked exactly to my liking. Amazing flavor, very tender and juicy. It's obvious why there were so many people there. Well worth my money, and as a first time customer I will definitely return and recommend anyone who enjoys a great steak! 5 STARS!

It is not a fancy place but my meal was AWESOME! The best ribeye steak I've had in a long time.

We had a great time. Very good experience. Our waitress Brandy has been with this establishment for 30 yrs. She was very attentive. The food was really good. My husband stated it was one of the best ribeyes he has ever ate. I have never eaten such a good baked sweet potato. We will definitely be back.

This is a great steakhouse they also have other great food. Give them a try if you're anywhere close by or passing through you'll be glad you did

I went in there yesterday evening for my 25th birthday, got sat with I believe her name is Brandi(y). She was awesome and never thought she was going to light a candle and sing happy birthday along with another nice young lady in a black shirt (didn’t get her name sadly), but they did sing the birthday song. LOVED it! My mom and I love the steaks and service just all around atmosphere!

Brandi is the best waitstaff we have experienced in a long time!! Tea was always topped off and food was great!!
Hate where we sat though. Chairs bumping into each other as we tried to sit down and get up. It’s way past time to build a new place.

Food, service, and atmosphere were on point. The salad bar was fresh, the steak seasoned to perfection. I will be back with all of my friends!!

Great vibe from an 30+ year old establishment. Seated very quickly, we got there around 5:45p or so. Nice crowd but we didn’t have to wait long for anything. Wonderful staff everyone was welcoming and friendly. Appetizer: cheese sticks 8/10 Steak kabob and steak and grilled shrimp entrees 10/10! (Which came with salad bar and a side…we had home fries and loaded baked potato). Dessert: peach cobbler and plain cheesecake (we took them to go) 10/10
Definitely wish pictures were taken but such is life. Handicap parking is right up front but wheelchair/walker users definitely make sure you’re on the concrete slab because the rocked area can be difficult to navigate. All in all a great first time visit after a long trying day. We’ll definitely return!

Birthday dinner for my daughter. Table of 8. We all had filet steak and we all thoroughly enjoyed the steak. Cooked to perfection. Great salad and baked potato and French fries. Awesome waitress. Will be back.
