Perry's Seafood

This is a small place right outside of Poplarville. I did not expect much from it but the poboy was delicious. I really enjoyed the seasoning on the fish. The fries were cooked to perfection. It was busy on a Friday night and they did not have that many tables. Get there early and you should be fine. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

I got the boiled catfish plate and it was delicious! The fish was perfectly cooked and tender, no fishiness. The sauce was thick, flavorful, and in enough quantity. They gave me a piece of what tasted like herb and butter French bread and it was cut in such a way to look like a heart, which was such a pleasant sight! I used the fries and bread to soak up the extra sauce. All the portions worked for me. The slaw was sweet and refreshing. I ate it for dessert. All in all this was a very enjoyable meal.

Tried another local restaurant today that we’ve heard was really good and it didn’t disappoint! We are Louisiana through and through, so we’re pretty picky when it comes to seafood places. Perry’s was great and was very flavorful!! Man, their Eggplant P-Row appetizer, the Perry’s Sea Cruise main dish, and their oysters were phenomenal! And dessert was half eaten before we remembered to take a pic 😜 Now, Perry’s is going to be on our short list for restaurant faves here! 😋

The fried Green tomatoes with the Think it was crab meat topping, was very very good. I had the fries with the boudin on top and it was amazing and the country fried steak my fiance had was tender and delicious. Service was quick and people were very nice. Thank y'all for a good time and meal. Look forward to the next time.

The owner Perry is a very amazing person that personally gave us an experience we would never forget he brought us alligator and shrimp. We also bought the soft shell crab, the food was to die for. A total hole in the wall place that you wouldn't find anywhere else if you didn't google it or someone mentioned it to you. I'd love to return but it was just a one time experience. Thank you wifey for finding another great place for us to experience.

I have driven by so many times and wanted to stop, finally had the chance! I was not disappointed! Food was amazing! Service was outstanding too.

Another little out of the way gem you try, foodways delicious, I ordered the the cruise that consisted of broiled fish, grilled shrimp, and cajun grilled potatoes, had a unique cajun seasoning that was just right. My husband ordered a 10" fried shrimp poboy with cajun fried crawfish tails, oh wow, so good.

When I am home visiting from Kentucky, I stop by and get my seafood fix. It is always delicious. The boiled shrimp and blue crabs are my go-to items.

Went for a ride on a Saturday afternoon, to a wonderful restaurant with amazing food and very nice people. We had the eggplant p'row to start, my husband had the crawfish etouffe and I had the Perry's Cajun sea cruise, everything was delicious. Was given samples of the gumbo and cajun boat by the chef they were yum. I would highly recommend this restaurant and can not wait for another trip there.

The fried shrimp are amazing. The staff is courteous. I added their menu as we had trouble finding a current one online before we ate there the first time.

Great spot. Came here a couple times on a business trip. Got 3 lbs of crawfish, crawfish etouffee, fried okra, and the triple berry tart. All amazing. Hoping to come here again before my trip is over to try the po boys, apple tart, and boudin balls. The service was always amazing. Love the family owned atmosphere. Can tell they really take pride in this place.

Brought 8 employees here, and everyone thought the food was good. Personally, I had the Cajun fried steak, and was totally blown away that what I got was a battered, and deep fried rib-eye. I mean, you can deep fry a boot and happily eat it, so think about how good this was...

We've been to surrounding places including fattys 😵. This place blows them all out the water! Food is amazing and I'm a huge food critic. We did the all you can eat fish, gator balls, crawfish pies, fried shrimp. Everything was so so good. Waitress was super nice. Food came out at good timing. Will definitely return soon. Found us a new place to eat at.

It may be small but the food is exceptional, the service was just as good as the food. Got to meet the owner, Perry, super friendly and quite a good cook. I would recommend going early and try something you never tried before like the stuffed soft shell crab. Will become a regular whenever I am in the area.

Was amazed that a little small town seafood restaurant had fabulous soft shell crabs on the menu! I am making this my new weekly stop!!
