X-Way Road Animal Hospital

There are really nice folks working here. Visits with the vet are first come, first serve. This vet is so awesome that there are almost always quite a few folks, so there is normally a wait. I saw something on my cat I was concerned with, and the vet put my mind at ease for my 17+ year old.

** Update** I had to put my love to sleep on Dec4. The staff was so caring and helpful. They really do understand our love for our 'furbabies'. I recommend them 100% and when I own a new cat, he or she will be going there.

This place really takes good care of your pets. I take my dog for all of her physical stay well needs. I trust them with my pet child. They are friendly, courteous , and professional.

Dropped off two adopted kittens to have surgery. The drive up service was fantastic as it was a bit chili outside that morning. There isn't so much of a waiting area as there is a porch. The service was fast and friendly. I suspect if any of the kitties need surgery in the future this is where we will take them. Not sure exactly what service is offered. We got spay and neuter surgery along with shots and microchip. The place is right across the street from the gingerbread house and right next to the museum.

My last review was 4yrs ago, so I'm gonna update.

My dog Rosie needed a few things done yesterday. Routine allergy shot, gland expression, and to pick up her flea and tick med. We were running late bc of the weather and we got to them at 4:52, and they still saw her. They cut the lights back on and took her back with no question. I know they were ready to go home, and they absolutely could have turned us away, but they didnt. I can not begin to say how thankful I am for that, as I live out of town.
Rosie loves it there. The nurses always greet her with so much happiness. We can ask her if she wants to go to the Vet and she is up and ready. It's so sweet.
If you have an animal pal, know the ladies here will take good care of them.

The vet was excellent. Took the time to speak with me regarding the overall health of my dog. A visit, urine sample and 2 weeks of antibiotics was very reasonably priced for a dog of his size.
The fact that it's drop in is very convenient. The facility isn't fancy.
Update: I have continued to be impressed by the speed, skill and prices of this practice. Once again they took great care of my dogs

The staff and doctor at XWAY animal hospital are so very caring to me especially Megan she always lets me know that I’m not bothering them when I’m so stressed and worried about my chihuahua Biscuit. My sweet boy has seizure and I have to give him seizure medication they are very good at keeping his phenobarbital levels checked for me and the doctor always calls me when she has results. This past Monday I took him for them to check his levels and she called later in the week and I was o upset I drove down there just to talk to her cause I like making sure he’s doing good. She took time out of her busy day to calm fears and to assure me that he is okay. God bless you doctor Olivia and staff. Keep up the great work.

They are super! Best prices anywhere ! Fast and efficient! All staff were sweet and patient and kind with me and my dog! Thank you all for taking care of us! You forever will be my go to for my babies!

The office staff is amazing. Dr. Guzman was very personable and was very loving towards our baby. I'm glad we made the change from our old vet to this one. Our Oakley loves everyone and was muzzled at our old vet, and Xway welcomed us with opened arms and NO MUZZLE. Wish I could give yall move that 5 stars.

I had to have my dog euthanized due to terminal illness. The staff was friendly, caring and accommodating. I would do business here again and I would recommend them to others.

Love this place and will definately be back with my ferrets. Was quoted $500-$700 at a "place" in Raleigh for a procedure that needed to be done. X-way didn't throw in all the unnecessary procedures and charges and my total came up to less than $200. Doc and staff were all very nice and helpful!!!

Such a gracious and empathetic staff. I was so upset my dog was under my truck and didn't know. Thought I killed my baby. Turns out he has soft tissue damage. Pain meds and a diet diet for my 11 yr old Mastiff/Pitt mix Obi.

My pets are well taken care of there. The Doctor is very knowledgeable and very upfront and honest and very kind. She wants to help your fur baby get the best care possible. The staff were super friendly and it's very affordable.

Xway & Dr Guzman have been caring for mine, my parents, and a siblings' fuzzy children for over 23 years. There is NO one else I would take them to in the county. I trust her to always tell me the truth and always put my pets first. Her dedication and work with the shelter just further go to show her first commitment is to the health of our communities animals.

Amazing Vet, extremely reasonable prices and you don’t need an appointment. Best Vet I’ve ever had.

Olivia is awesome. Always has been. Drive almost 3 hrs just to have my 2 dogs seen by her. Too bad she's not a family dr too😆😆

Check in is strange. You have to drive up to window with car check in then park before proceeding to the actual office with your pet. The staff is very friendly and they care about your baby be it cat dog or mouse.

The took great care of both my animals. Of course I don't like the fact that they are not open on weekends. I had to put my baby down after 15 years they were really nice about it.
