Mountain View BBQ & Deli

A great, authentic mountain BBQ experience worth visiting. The meat and sauces were both delicious and the selection was great. Many ingredients are homemade (pickles, sauces, chips) and you can tell by how good they taste. The prices were reasonable and it was overall a great lunch stop !

I know a BBQ restaurant and my reviews and searches for restaurants are gluten free and healthy. Yes they do that! The best, fresh and fastest salads around. I also go and order their brisket (3 pounds) quite a lot to bring home, freeze and use for weekend charcuterie boards.

Delicious food. My favorites are the wings and bbq brisket plate. Their home made chips are so good.

Delicious food....We got 2 pulled pork BBQ plates with beans and slaw (with 2 big and amazing hush puppies).
Nice and generous portion sizes....Plenty of food -even for my hearty appetite.
On top of that, we got 1/2 pound of the brisket to try. It was outstanding!
This place will definitely be in our "rotation" of go-to restaurants.
Very reasonable price for the quality (and amount) of food.
Will absolutely be back soon.

The Mountain View barbecue food truck was at a celebration for my daughters daycare last night, and it was excellent! I think the picture of my daughters eyes rolled back while shoveling pulled pork into her face explains it all! 😂 try the mustard based sauce, it was delicious!!!

Definitely a must stop if your in the area... We both had the BBQ sandwiches... She liked the fried okra and I enjoyed the baked beans!!! We will definitely be back!!! The mustard BBQ sauce was amazing!!!

Best barbecue in the area hands down. They really know what they are doing! The food was awesome and the Staff was so friendly, feels like home! They deserve 10 Stars! Can't wait for my next visit......

Great BBQ & Deli Restaurant right off the Columbus exit. Worth stopping on your way going to or coming from Asheville! The Pulled Pork, Mountain Beans & Cole Slaw Plate was fantastic!!

Best Smoked brisket, pork, wings, and side we have ever enjoyed. We travel all the way from Moss Lake near Shelby. Family owned and the nicest folks you will ever meet. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Don't judge a book by its cover is the first thing I will say! The outside is unassuming but when you walk in you are immediately engulfed in a warm, small town, welcoming decor and atmosphere. From the charming photos and signs to inviting tables to eat at. You go up to the counter to order where a smiley and friendly young woman takes your orser and provides some good suggestions. The food follows rather quickly and that's where you easily forget about anything else because you have just walked into one of the absolutely best tasting BBQ joints in the Smokey Mountains, if not THE BEST. Cooked to perfection the meat is INCREDIBLE and the sides are to die for. Corn diggers fried to absolute perfection along with fried green tomatoes and the best bbq beans that I gave ever tasted. And yes this establishment was featured on the Food Network and for good reason!!!!!!! Mountain View BBQ is right off 26 and an absolute MUST STOP, if you are heading to Ashville or anywhere North, and if you are heading back South then it's a perfect excuse for a break during your drive.

YUMMY!!!!!!! Sums it up for me. My only request, REAL HONEY BUTTER with those corn diggers. Margeraine is NOT BUTTER and a chemically laden acutrament served with all the other freshly made food is simply out of place. Bring on the real butter please 🙂. But on a serious not, those corn diggers don't need anything to accompany them, they are delicious on their own!

Delicious food! Came here a couple years ago and it was just as good as this time too. Great day at Justus Orchard right down the road and lunch here! Moved to SC a few years ago from up North, and this is the only place I like to get Fried Okra. It's the best here.

Mountain view BBQ makes some really good barbecue. They also have a really good sweet tea, which is the keystone of a good restaurant. But I recommend calling and seeing what the special of the day is. Their meatloaf sandwich is the bomb!

My favorite BBQ place for sure. The only complaint is occasionally the fried food is a bit off whether cold or overcooked but most times it's great.

The food and staff were fantastic!

The barbecue was great.

We had a sample appetizer platter and an entree sampler, as the menu was extensive offering very diverse choices.

We split both to get an idea how the food was.

Well it was amazing!

Everything from the pulled pork to the ribs the and the wings.

The hush puppies were awesome too.

All at an affordable price.

I highly recommend the place.

Always great BBQ. Tryon/Columbus is lucky to have this level of BBQ. I bring clients in from out of town and this is always my first stop. I always explain before we get there that we have a barbecue restaurant that is punching above its weight class. Always great and the staff are extremely nice.

Good food good service quick service for what we got. Would stop again.
