The food was absolutely delicious! The salsa and guacamole were fire! My drink was amazingly delicious as well. The customer service and atmosphere exceeded my expectations! I recommend this restaurant to anyone that may be in or near the Wilson area.

The service here is great. Our server, Kate is the best. She's attentive and not overbearing. When she notices that chips or salsa were low, she drops a new batch off. She checked on us just enough. The chips and salsa are fantastic. Can't stop dancing because the music here is great. The volume is just right, where it isn't blowing out your eardrums and you can still enjoy your meal with conversations comfortably. The chicken flautas, kids grilled steaks, and mezcalitas enchiladas were delicious. Kate went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Will definitely be returning.

We had been watching this place through the months so we decided to give it a try this Valentine's Day. It was an EXCELLENT choice for us! I have been to multiple other Mexican restaurants but none compared to this La Rancherita! Starting with the salsa and chips, the seasonings in the salsa were superb and definitely different than what I had previously experienced. Everything we ordered was beyond yummy in seasonings and taste! Being on a retirement fixed budget we ordered from the lunch menu but it was plenty to eat and take some home! The service was soooo friendly, right on top of things and they care about their customers! For Valentine's Day my server surprised me with a live red rose! It was so thoughtful and boosted this old lady's day for sure! Can't miss giving them extra kudo's for their holiday decorations! They went all in!! We've also noticed through the years that this place is popular with any age group which we noticed that day too! Definitely highly recommend them! All 5's across the board! Definitely our new favorite place to eat!

We were on a road and stopped in Wilson, NC. This place is amazing. Food is delicious. Drinks are great. Come before 5.30pm if you can, as otherwise, this place is packed.

Omg! I have been to so many restaurants but this one! Omg! The service was immaculate! I mean! They were quick, 🧽 clean, I mean clean, the customer service Kate gave was awesome bc she actually explained our orders to make sure all the ingredients were what we wanted. The drinks, n chips n salsa came immediately, our food was served hot and to perfection! This is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten at! Trust me I’ve tried many! Now it’s my 13 year old and I favorite! Oh yea, so there’s this bust boy 👦 who when I say he’s quick! As soon as the guest in front of us got up to leave, he hop skipped and jumped to clean that table so quickly a few of us tables could not believe it! It was like seeing Superman, He was amazing, and he actually cleaned the table n seats individually and well! Shows how clean they are! I’m very impressed, I had to do a review! Now I’m eating the rest of my ACP/ pineapples 🍍 and they actually came grilled not to mention! I’m about to be so full! I love ❤ love love this place! I got the ACP and my daughter got the Quesadilla bowl we both love pineapples 🍍 but we didn’t know they came grilled and delicious 🤤!

First time visiting and really can’t wait to come back. Great drink choices, all handcrafted and well thought out, so delicious. The food was perfect as well, so many options. Service was top notch, even for a busy holiday weekend!

The Wilson location is amazing! The service is outstanding, the food is delicious and everyone is so friendly! They kept the salsa and chips flowing without asking, and come to think of it we didn’t have to ask for anything because they were on top of their game - Can’t wait to come back!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, super fast service. We arrived around 4:30pm today, Friday, and were given a table almost immediately. I noticed that it quickly filled up shortly after that, but their staff handled it like pros. The food is delicious, everything was served hot and fresh. We had 4 adults + 3 kids. The portions were huge; one "plate for two" could've really fed 4, kids each had their own meal. It's a great place to take cute photos and definitely try their various margaritas and tacos. So sad I live 4 hours away!! 😞

Food is great here and I love the music. It is a little cramped but otherwise great place to grab a quick lunch. I got thw bowl with steak chicken & shrimp.

This place is AMAZING!!!!! Great food, our wait staff was wonderful. Whenever we make it back to this area, we will definitely go back!!!

My daughter and I had lunch here, and now I can see why it is one of her favorite restaurants in Greenville. Johana was our server, she was great!!! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere is definitely a vibe! My daughter ate the ACP Trio and I had the Shrimp and Chicken Bowl...plus I enjoyed a Corona.

Hands down my favorite place for margaritas in the state of NC. Food is always on point. I travel to this part of the state for work 2-3 a month and always eat here at least 1 night. Service is always good, during my last visit the manager noticed me chowing down on this hot pepper that comes with the tacos and actually brought me some of the hot salsa to go with it. I guess not many gringos can eat spicy food like our southern neighbors in Mexico, just by the look on his face when he brought the salsa.
I usually spend a little more than necessary but prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get.

We stopped by on a busy Sunday night while driving around Wilson. We were seated right away. Service was perfect-attentive, friendly. We ordered a blackberry mojito (amazing!) and a top shelf margarita (very good). Then, for dinner we had nachos (good, a sweet chipotle sauce - not our particular favorite but we suspect that’s personal preference), and chicken/shrimp fajitas (good!). Portions were great, most people were leaving with toGo boxes. We would definitely return.

This was the second place in Wilson that we chose to eat at. My husband actually said thankbyou to me for choosing this place. I can't say enough about this place. The food, drinks, and salsa were the best I've ever tasted. The server was on point and seemed to come at the right times we needed something. I can't wait to come back to this place. Spring Hope to Wilson is no short drive, but I'll be back.

The atmosphere was a little loud for me, but I am 52, so bear that in mind. I did enjoy my Burrita AL Pastor, Dos Equis, and Peach Mango margarita with Tahine instead of salt on the rim (you have to request it), so good. If you don't like noise, don't request a birthday fanfare.

Visited for lunch and was not disappointed! Great service and food! Always enjoy eating here.

We tried the birria fries. They were pretty good. It's definitely meant for at least 3 people. I got the quesadilla de al pastor. There were some bits of pieces that were meant to go to someone's else dish. I got a piece of chicken and mushroom lol Their drinks look really appealing so I will try one next time. Our waitress was nice.

I been here a few timesbefore, just never wrote a review before. The first couple of times, the rice was always too salty and the beans weren't good (this was more than a year ago). I wouldve probably given them a 3/5 at that time.
I won a gift card to eat here so we went on 07/17/21 during lunch. It looked a bit busy but we were seated immediately. I got the al pastor torta with fries. My fiance got the acp but with steak, shrimp and chicken. The chips and salsa were banging. We got our food just when we were done munching on the chips. My torta was pretty good. Huge, I could only eat half. My only critique is that the torta bread was already starting to sog bc of all the sauces. I tried the rice from my fiance's plate. It wasn't salty like how I remember it last time. Our server was a young male. His service was okay. Only checked on us once after we were done eating. He seemed shy so he mustve been new. I would come here again.

Awesome place! The nachos and the salsa were among the best I've ever had, the portions are huge and the prices are very fair. I ordered the Fiesta salad and the chicken fajitas and I could barely finish the dishes. The food was really good and the service was pretty good too. All in all a great place for a good Mexican meal.

To explain, I brought my dogs and family to sit outside and enjoy a reunion together. They are NOT dog friendly inside so if you have issues with fur then please sit in there. Otherwise we respectfully took the table in the corner and I had all 3, yes 3, dogs sit on the gate side away from others. Very respectful employees catered to my request and there were no incidents obviously. I got to see my uncle who I hadn't in over 2 years and it was a great get together and atmosphere for the occasion. Anyone needing a pet friendly place this is it! Just be respectful since you can see in the other review there are some sensitive Karens that will criticize your every move. The food was pretty good/standard for a Mexican restaurant - we are Hispanic so I can't really rave compared to my suegra's cooking. Pricing can be up there so be prepared for that as well. They also get really busy!

Such a lively, fun Mexican restaurant with authentic food and great margaritas! Very good service and adorable decorations for fall season!
