Captain D's

I'm not sure I've ever eaten at a Captain Ds before today, but it was everything you might expect from a fast food seafood place. The food was good. I had fried shrimp, fish, and fries. The shrimp was good. The fish was OK. The slaw was good and went well with the rest of it. The bathrooms and the eating areas were clean.

The Young lady, Anita, was the perfect associate!! She was very kind...nice..and patient. She even suggested an add on and I got it bc her customer service was A-1. She listened to my sauce selection and made sure they were in my bag. Oh and the cooks did there thing too!!! My food was EXCELLENT... the jalapeño poppers were not overcooked...the shrimp were breaded correctly and fried to perfection...even my breadstick was beautiful cooked!! I will be back to visit! Great jobto the crew.

This is the best Captain D's I have ever eaten at. All of the food was so fresh tasting and piping hot like I like it. We were only passing through, but if I ever pass this way again I hope I can visit this Captain D's again.

Unlike last, Capt D'Souza uses whole, not minced fish and chicken fillers! A light batter, too. I love the food there!

Their country style fish is delicious! Yum yum! And they even gave me sauce! I didn't have to ask for it! They have common sense here. 5 stars from me

This location never seems to disappoint! We love Captain D's. This fish was fresh and hearty. The shrimp and crab cakes were really good as well. The coleslaw was a little dry, but it was good. The broccoli was hot, steamy, and delicious!The tarter sauce is the real star of the plate, though. I love tarter sauce! I'm not one for hushpuppies, but they're sooo good! Between the two locations that are closest to me, I believe this is the one I need to go to from now on. The girl at the window wasn't friendly, but she did her job.

Ordered the garlic and herb shrimp with fish, and the blackened grilled tilapia. Both orders were wonderful. My favorite though is the funnel stix. The powdered sugar over fried dough is yummy!!

Very clean and very friendly workers. Food was great again.

I stop by and eat at this particular Captain D's every single time I pass through Laurenburgh, it's a must for me. I'm one of those long time Capt. D's fans and have always loved their food. Best national "seafood fast food" restaurant, imo. This one has always been great whenever I've stopped. I wish more Captain D's existed, especially in my city of Wilmington, NC (hint hint @ you, Captain D's). Anyway, I look forward to visiting again the next time I'm on the road passing through.

Service was great even though they were short staffed. Food was good and hot. Manager came to dining area to make sure that my party had everything we needed and offered us refills suggesting additional dessert items we may be interested in. Would definitely visit again

Captain D’s in Laurinburg always gives me a great hot meal every time me and my grandfather goes there. I love the homey environment I get there ❤

The gumbo is horrible! Slimy rice and doesn’t resemble any gumbo I’ve ever eaten! I’d give it lower than a 1! After trying the restaurant again and ordered the grilled salmon I have to say it was delicious!

I travel 74 alot going to visit my mother. She lives in Charlotte and I live at the beach. I always stop by Capt ds to get something to eat. Sometimes I have to wait a little longer for the food but it is fresh cooked and hot. Staff has always been friendly and helpful.

Excellent customer service, food is always hot and fresh tasting. Love the tartar sauce, and the hush puppies are unbelievable. One of our favorite places to get some fast food in laurinburg. Highly recommend eating here!

I had the lunch special ($5.99) plus drink. Had the extra side, 5 fried shrimp (2.99). The lobster roll with fries. Yes lobster for lunch. Brother Alan, talks highly of captain D s. He works at St. ANDREWS UNIVERSITY. He likes to walk to and meets someone to ride back.

Back to review dinning was. Clean plenty of seating. I've back.

Delicious depending on who you get at the window one week I didn't get napkins at the window no sauces or asked if I wanted any. The next week different drive thru attendant took care of me. Management pay attention to your staff.
