Pecina's Mexican Cafe - Weatherford

My husband and I were driving across county and needed food stat. Saw their sign from the highway and spotted all the cars in the parking lot--good sign. Place was packed, yet we didn't wait to be seated, Food came quickly, was very good, fast friendly service. Highly recommend!

AMAZING!!! WE have never had a bad experience. The food is consistently amazing. The white queso is some of the best you’ll ever eat, regular queso equally amazing, and the homemade tortillas are heavenly! Everyone is so nice and we always get great service.

Update 2021: I would give them 10 stars if I could. Their foods are ALWAYS fresh and absolutely delicious. I love the new website and the option to order online. Their customer service is also incredible! I have never had a bad experience with Pecina's. They made my oder wrong 1 time, I called and they made me a whole new order + delivered it to my house in less than 20 mins. Pecina's is definitely one of my most favorite restaurant in town!

We had a group gathering for lunch and I recommended Pecina’s as Mrs. Flip Out and I had enjoyed it once before. Pecina’s did not disappoint! Our server was prompt and attentive. Everyone enjoyed their food and agreed that the white queso was the best. Our server also brought us their habanero salsa and the spicy salsa. Both were fantastic and each had a good kick. I had a fajita beef chimichanga with the white queso as the sauce. It came with a side of charro beans and rice. Their charro beans were delicious and the chimichanga was great. Mrs. Flip Out had a fajita chicken quesadilla that came with sour cream, guacamole, and pico de Gallo. She said it was delicious as well. Mrs. Flip Out also tried their horchata and really enjoyed it.

Started out with queso, salsa, chips, and tortillas. Ordered chicken fajitas (well done), steak fajitas. Both included a sugar-and- cinnamon-coated sopapilla to finish off. Delicious! Was sizzling when it came out and included all of the appropriate fixings (guacamole, sour cream, pico de Gallo, cheese, and tortillas). Service was positive and fast.

Reliable Mexican food in Weatherford that beats most other local favs. The clincher is the free Queso for every customer (get lots of White Queso) and the sometimes complimentary desserts.

My Grandson loved his 11th birthday here. Got to wear a huge, blue Sombrero and whole restaurant sang happy birthday to him!

As always, Pecina's brings delicious food and hospitality to their Weatherford,OK site. This site doesn't serve alchohol but it isnt needed as the quality of their food brings you all the satisfaction you need. Staff are friendly and smiling. I recommend the Avacado salsa and the Relish.

I go here any time I have a chance when visiting Weatherford. I have NOTHING but nice things to say. From the Hello to the Goodbye... its was all amazing. But THE FOOD... omgosh... just go try it. It's even worth a road trip!!

Service was awesome, food was great! Carne Asada cooked to perfection, the Jalapeno had decent taste and excellent heat!

Family of 4 traveling back to TX after a visit to Frontier City in OKC. We were exhausted and just wanted solid food. We walked in, we were immediately sat at a table. The waitress came to the table within a minute of us arriving. She was extremely prompt with drinks and was right back to take our order. She offered flour tortillas (the best we’ve ever had). They offer salsa and queso with the chips. The queso blanco was our favorite . Our food came out extremely quick and everything tasted fantastic and was hot and fresh!! We were in the restaurant less than 45 minutes and have a slow eating child. We will definitely be back.

1st time to go here and I found the service and food to be exceptioally good which was unexpected considering the circumstances. (Long story) Friendly staff and I felt like they were going out of their way to see that my family were served well.

Atmosphere is happy and inviting! The wait staff is prompt and pleasant...and the food is delicious! I eat there every time I'm in Weatherford.

Food was good and consistently is! We have a son with a soy sensitivity so eating out is difficult. While they do use soy oil the staff went above and beyond to make sure our son had soy free items. They even cleaned the cooking area to keep from cross contamination. We had a truly wonderful waitress who helped to make our dining experience less stressful and enjoyable. Thank you again staff at Pecina's!

Stopped in for lunch on my way through Weatherford. Great Mexican food all around. For a starter you get chips, salsa, yellow cheese dip, and white queso or you can choose from several appetizers off the menu. I ordered the single enchilada (w/fajita chicken) with rice an charro beans. The charro are amazing and a must have. The enchilada was great, but could have used a little more meat, since they do charge an upcharge for the fajita chicken meat. Our waitress was nice and attentive. She checked on my table frequently.

Overall a great place to stop in for a quick lunch or stay a bit for dinner. Love it and can't wait to go back.

It was a very clean and enjoyable atmosphere. Not loud, staff was very nice. Food was great. Just wish the chimichanga was a little bigger. It would of been really good if it had some lettuce and sauce over it. I had the burrito dinner with shredded beef and chili it was good it was missing something like it was incomplete. I would definitely go back. We come in to watch our son play baseball so we like to try new places.
