First time visiting this place. Camped at cowboy camp ground. Reservations are made online only and our campsite was $22 a night for tent. The camp site had a picnic table, fire ring and shelter house, clean bathrooms with showers.

If you're looking for fire wood you can contact locals for them. They deliver them right to your campground for $30 you get 25 pieces. The Dollar general in town has contact info.

There was people at the entrance to the sand dunes where you can pay cash or else there's a kiosk before on the left that you can pay with card. $10 per person per day. You will get a wrist band for the day pass.

No alcohol in vehicle or drinking allowed while operating a orv or else a hefty fine. There are officers at the entrance checking at certain times.

If you want patches the park office has them. If you want stickers you can go to the park office or else little sahara sand sports has them. I was told the park office is the visitor center. If you need to purchase flags the sand sports store has them for around $25.

We had dinner in town at the little sahara pizza place. Food and service was great.

This was so much fun and everyone was super nice. Well at least the day we went lol

We will be back

The geographical regions of Oklahoma are awesome, and Little Sahara State Park is a perfect example of this! Way cool to see sand dunes in a state that boasts mountains, waterfalls, cypress swamps, salt flats, red dirt, and sand dunes!

We came for the first time this month and we had a blast! The camp sites are large and are mixed with gravel and pavement. The facility had bathrooms and showers which was a huge place! As far as the dunes go you can ride for miles without hitting the same spot twice! (Make sure you have a phone or other person with you) as it is very easy to get lost! We will definitely be coming back once a year!

We camped over the weekend in the Buttercup campground, which has pull through electric/water sites with a fire ring, picnic table and nice charcoal grills. With in walking distance there is a nice restroom facility that was cleaned daily with showers on the other side. The showers were .50 cents for 3 minutes or $1.25 for 7.5 minutes, the shower rooms were heated and clean, we were very impressed. Overall we had a lot of fun taking our jeep out to the dunes but definitely would’ve had a blast in a couple of side by sides! We highly recommend checking this place out!

Amazing must visit place in the Midwest for any off-road enthusiast. Make sure you have the proper height flags! Awesome that they stay open to ride at night

Great adventure place for people come with atv's,orv's,and off road bikes. Nothing much to do if you go without any off road vehicles. There is a observation deck and small hiking trail of about .6 miles

Absolutely amazing! Came here with my family and we took out the razors and everyone was so nice and we definitely met a lot of new people and friends. This place is great for dirt bikes and razors and I will definitely be back💜

Overall a nice state park. Unless you have an ATV or something else to ride the dunes with, there isn’t much else to do. But if you are staying here for the dunes it is well worth it. Campsite amenities vary by camp ground. Ours had full hookups and a table. Only a few camp spots had fire rings, ours did not. The campground was busy on the weekend but completely dead during the week. Also the gas station and convenient store has weird hours, we had to ride into town to fill up. There is a $10 per day fee to ride, they take cash or card.

I came here and 4-wheeled in the park with my family over 15 years ago. We had an amazing day of it.
I came here today with my husband and I am so happy there was no one out because we were able to walk out onto the sand. We walked, ran, and just soaked it in. Just overwhelmed with how neat this area is. Now the facilities are the bare minimum, but they do have concrete appearing campgrounds (not what I would want)...But they are easy fast access to the sand. We definitely want to come back and take an appropriate vehicle onto the sand. There is a fee, but not sure what that is. I am sure it can be found easily online.

Super fun pit stop on our road trip to Colorado! Lots of picnic benches to eat at and a cute little park for the kids to play on (we were there in the winter so it was pretty empty).

They have done so much work on the park. It looks fantastic! Makayla in the office was very helpful and even gave us lots of info about other nearby state parks. The only way to see the dunes up close is on an ATV, but what we saw was beautiful! (Sorry the photos aren't great. These are the only ones without my children in them.)

Absolutely beautiful campgrounds clean bathrooms , nice sized playground and awesome people on the dunes. My battery died and five people stopped to make sure that I was OK as my bro went back to get jump pack.

I Have a great time each time I go here. I went last weekend and it was very hot but park had few people there so there was no crowding. I think it is around 1700 acres with riding 24 hours A-day..

A great experience, with amazing sights. I had no vehicle that could go on the sand, I walked it. Perfect for sunset!

Fantastic place to ride in Oklahoma. Great camp sites with pull-throughs available. We even take utility quads out on the sand because they run fine with lower air pressure in the tires. We found the campsites to be fairly empty during the week, as you might expect.
