Spavinaw Area at Grand Lake State Park

The spill way is a wonderfully relaxing. The campground is clean and well maintained. The water is nice and the fishing is alright. Good for kayaking and swimming. I will be back it was one of my favorite campgrounds.

We went as a group, the parents sat and visited on the shore while the slew of kids were able to go up steam and float down or swim in the water.
It's is a beautiful area.
Watch out for poison ivy if you go to the dam.
But it's a well kept area.
You can camp there, there are bathrooms there, a good safe place to take the family and create memories.

Beautiful, quiet place to relax. The water is clear and clean. The campgrounds have many RV spots and tent spots.

Great place to enjoy some water fun with with the family, the river flow is mild so kids can enjoy and the water is clear. Beautiful back drop of trees and cliff and very good amenities at the campground too with restrooms and benches. The back road drive to the park is also amazing.

So pretty. I haven't actually had the opportunity to fish yet, but judging from the people there I would say it's good. The campground with river seemed awesome. I will definitely be taking the family there soon!

Spavinaw creek is absolutely breathtaking. The water is always flowing & super clear in the creek. The camping areas are clean. The people are always kind. The bathrooms are only 1 person at a time for the whole camping area so bring provisions if your primitive camping. This is a staple place for us every year & we will always be back!

Grandma and I came here to check out some nature and we were not disappointed! I don’t recommend getting to close to the falls like some folks were but they are fun to look at. People were fishing, people were lounging, it’s good vibes here.

Awesome road to ride and this stop pulse Disney OK is a must see for Dam lovers! Very nice nearby campground right off the stream.

It was actually really amazing here and I had a great time. Took my son and even toured the dam a little. Very cool little spot.

Beautiful scenery and quiet, peaceful. Great place to go and disconnect from the world and take in God's creation.

Very tranquil! From what i could tell fishing from a boat was good. Not so productive from the dam

Absolutely beautiful stream in Northeast Oklahoma. Stopped in for a short break on a long drive. I stop by every time I'm up that way. They do have a restroom and shower with a few campsites.

One of my favorite State Parks to camp. The sites are roomy and well maintained. The creek is shallow enough for kids to enjoy but be warned, it's not a cold creek. Also, the bathroom and shower is small. The have port a potties in another area that are also kept clean.

Beautiful campground!! Just stopping by as I was heading to Downstream to meet with friends. Just the brief visit I had tells me I want to come camping here. Putting it on the schedule for next year!! Electric,water and cement pad!!!

I love bringing the kids here! The love to swim while I relax in th stream! We love to bring the grill out and setup shop!

Great place to take a dip in the river. Campsites all looked clean and spacious. Restrooms were clean too. Bring shoes if you venture into the water, it's covered in stones (smooth), but gets slippery due to algae
