Ridgewood Campground

Owners were so helpful and willing to accommodate us on such short notice. I can not thank them enough for what they did to get us sites for the weekend. People in the campground were really friendly, even ended up sharing a fire with the permanents that were next to us. The place is awesome! It is well kept, family friendly and one of the best campgrounds we have every stayed at in that area! Loved it!

My wife and I went to this campground to visit some of our old camper friends from a different campground this campground was very pleasant very nice. people were really nice and it was very peaceful there highly recommend checking it out

At the time we stayed it is most a place for seasonal camping not a campground for 1 or 2 nights. They had some open seasonal sites so we were able to stay a night. Management was very kind, great communication and friendly. She stated there are plans to expand next year.

Site was very beautiful by the water and wooded with mature trees. Very nice bathrooms and showers in the club house. Amenities were electric, firepit and bath house as stated above.

Unfortunately if your looking for handicap amenities this is not the place. Full disclosure, it was not advertised as handicap accessible. When I stayed I had a broken leg and used a knee scooter. Getting around the gravel road was ok as it was packed down. The Bath house was a but harder with 6 stairs up it was a bit more difficult but I had family to help me to the top.

All in all I would rate this camping experience as a 5 star place but not for anyone that is handicap.

I was amazed by how helpful and nice the owners are. You just don't find people that are this way to often. I threw out my back when I was setting up my tent (no ones fault but my own). They went above all expectations with finding an urgent care, calling for hours, looking for a chiropractor and even offered to lend us heating pads. Once we got back they checked in to see how I was doing and then told us that they didn't want our experience of their campground to be negative. I assured them it wasn't but they insisted that they were going to comp our visit. Thank You!!!
Other things: Brand new bathrooms, New sites on the spring fed pond, Pontoon Boat for Rent, Quiet Campground, Friendly Campers!

Owners are incredible!! Stayed there a month for work and had a great time. Great place. Definitely will try to return 😀

Absolutely fantastic

My boyfriend and I walked into the park today to see iff its a place we would want to camp all summer. We decided against it because we like more privacy. Sites are all open with no privacy.
So if you dont mind that then I'm sure it would be a nice place to set your camper for summer.
Communication with management was good.

Friends just got a new campsite, sounds pretty expensive there. But beautiful spot!
