Northeast Baptist Church

Hey Everyone!
So, I have been going to this church since 2017. I was in youth and was AMAZED by the youth pastor and all the youth leaders. Everyone was passionate in their job. I took a pause from church after senior year, went to college in Chicago. Just recently came back and I do not regret that decision.

I hope others feel welcomed like I did! If you stop by at church, stay for a month, give it a try. Some days may not be what you wanted, may not be perfect, but that’s why you stay for a month. You let it sit, here more than just one sermon, and get a feel of what our Church is really about.

If it’s not your cup of tea, that’s okay, none of us are judging. If you felt hurt from us, talk to us, and we fix our problems! We aren’t complicated humans. We are Christians who strive to do our best.

Wonderful church and people. I need to say that I have been a member for the past 25 years and for about 3 years before that. Raised 3 kids in this church. That should say a lot. Taught Sunday School, helped with children and youth programs, and currently teach children on Wednesday nights. I'm been involved with the Ladies Monday night Bible study for about 15 years which always includes ladies from other churches, sometimes other denominations or no church home at all. This is always a good Bible study using a video and workbook with optional homework - that we discuss the following week. This Bible study stays on topic and we form a good relationship with each other. We have available drinks and snacks; but this is not a social time. I'm a busy person so I appreciate that social time is before and after the study and rarely ever during. We do have group discussions, but the group leader always keeps us from straying from the topic of study. Studies are typically 6-10 weeks long with a short break between most. They continue year round; with exception of December. We've had ladies from age 20's to in their 80's. All ages are welcome.

I absolutely love how warm and friendly the church is. It is a big church, though very welcoming. The choir is excellent and the message inspiring. They do have children’s church through 1st grade and an excellent nursery.

Great church , services , a blessing to the community ,and well rounded , transportation is helpful , they are a ways out , but well worth th drive .

If you looking you a church with good Christian leaders avoid this place they put evil people in charge of Sunday school classes the lady running Sunday school classes for elderly women is a fraud she got mad and made false reports on my family because she thought she was goin to talk her way into getting her name on stock accounts
