Waynoka Historical Society

Nice place for rail and/or historical enthusiest to eat a takeout lunch and watch some railroad action on the BNSF Transcon and enjoy the old historical depot. Make a donation to the historical society and help with the restoration of the depot.

We LOVED the museum! Air/train history as well as town and surrounding area. nice little restaurant in the building with fantastic and not too pricy food. Good to fair service depending upon the day. It gets busier during weekends and there can be a bit of a wait, but it is generally worth it. nice gift shop too.

This is a really cool place! It takes you back in time when the railways were the main form of transportation of people and goods. They have done such an amazing job of recreating that era, that it easily comes to life in your mind, especially when the modern day trains go by blowing their horn!

This is a great place to see some local history. I really enjoyed the "Harvey House" tour. If you want to go inside the museum you need to call first and make an appointment.
