Had a blast at the 250R Takeover weekend. The park is always well-maintained and everyone is very friendly and helpful

Interesting and beautiful place. Cleanest State Park I’ve visited. If you are walking, you can’t go out on the dunes. In fact, the dunes have retreated from the viewing deck on the North end of the park but still a great view. I’d love to come back with a drone to fly out to the dunes.

Changed a lot over the years. Hills have gotten smaller but still a great place to visit. Dont need big power, went almost everywhere in and old worn out 6 cyl Jeep on 33 mud tires aired down. Use to ride 3 and 4 wheelers as well as buggies. Now side by side seems to be the most popular ride.
Roll bar/cage required for soft top/topples vehicles. Orange flag on pole that reaches 10 ft. Head/tail/brake lights required for night. Helmet for atvs. Goggles recommended.
Good camping but don't expect much shade. 50 amp and water hook ups as well as promitive camp spots.
Was free to enter then 50 cents per vehicle. Now you pay 10 per person with children 10 and under free.
Bring tools and spare parts. Alva, 30 min away, is closest parts (some ATV parts local). Labor rates are expensive and limited availability of time.

Overall, if you enjoy playing in the sand, LSSP is a great place for family and friends. Been going to over 40 years and we still enjoy it in any type of vehicle.

Fantastic. Can't really see the sand dunes, but you can walk up to the observation deck

Great place to go for scenic views, free telescopic binoculars and plenty of literature about the local community and local wild life

Fantastic views has a path that has little lights to guide you to the high observation point with amazing panoramic views and panels showing the history of the area.

Great place to come and look at the Little Sahara Park. Clean area and visibly lit walkway make it an anytime walk up to the observation deck. Nice history pieces on the observation deck too. We make it a must to come and overlook the park during every trip!

The best place in Oklahoma to ride Atvs and utvs. I travel all over to ride and I always come home to the Little Sahara and it's not that Little. Be kind and safe out on the dunes and you will have a lifetime of great memories.

A great place to ride in the sand. I highly recommend going there if your into atvs, utv and dune buggys.

Very nice. Handicap accessible. Great views of the tops of the dunes. History lesson on the way up with the signs.

Fun place to ride with family and friends. You'll definitely feel like you're in another country... the dunes are a lot bigger than expected.

Cool place BUT YOU CAN NOT WALK ON THE DUNES. And it's not posted anywhere until you get there. They're only for off road vehicles. They DO NOT have a placeto explore or hike.

We went to the observation deck & watched the sun go down & the duners lights on the sand. It was a beautiful show!

It was really thrilling for us. At first we went from the other side it was so steep and sandy so we couldn’t make it to the deck. Afterwards we went by the trails and view was really good but pictures are not talking about it 😟. This deck was pretty clean and there was 3 binocular to watch wilderness. I tried but couldn’t find any. View from the deck is also tranquil. It was an adventurous experience for us.
