Waynoka Lil' Lodges

We stayed at the Lil lodges 4/26-4/28 2024. There were 7 in our group so we opted to rent both cabins. The cabins were clean. Communication with the owners was great. The patio outside was a really nice addition to our stay. The trail access to the dunes was a little longer than expected and if I were to have a complaint, it would be that there was no directions or map on how to get to the dunes. We did figure it out and after that everything was good to go. Plenty of room for parking and quiet with exception to the trains that went by frequently, but we rode hard and late so we were able to sleep through any noise at night so all in all it was a great stay! We will definitely stay again on our next trip.

Highly recommend. Nice set up, gates at drive, cameras set up, and very nice outdoor entertainment area Concrete, nice outdoor furniture w/Fireplace and large outdoor flat screen TV. Easy to unload and right next to 24/7 dune trail.
Bring a sound machine for getting sleep, the train runs all night.
Nice park area on the same street and a lot of room for the kids to play outside inbetween rides.

First off- the cabins are extremely clean and well kept! The location is perfect that connects to the dunes, easy quick ride to the sand dunes themselves. I would come here again and again and highly recommend this place! Chill pad outside was perfect for hanging out in the evening, cabins were clean, updated, well kept. If your wanting to enjoy yourself while at the dunes, this is the place to stay! I am definitely coming back here again!!

Great clean place. Smart design, the cabins/lodges are compact and comfy but the place you'll spend all your time is under the huge outdoor roof with big screen, fireplace, and a good quality grill (rare on rentals). Plenty of tables, chairs out there whether you're renting both lodges or sharing with another party. Plenty of parking for trailers.

Great place to stay for riding at the dunes. The lodges were clean, well stocked, and very nice. The outdoor area with fireplace and TV was a great place to relax. The area felt safe. Easy trail access to the dunes! The host was easy to contact and very responsive. We would go again!

Clean, spacious, wireless internet, other than the small town's trains it's quiet.

Great place to stay everything you need in one spot

The owner is incredible. Great customer service. Trail to dunes is 30 seconds from the lodges across a nice park area.

Its a good place to stay if you rent both cabins. If you only rent 1 cabin then your committed to a weekend with your neighbors... One trip there was 12 people in the other cabin that's limited to 6 guests... The cabins, outdoor patio and containers are very nice accommodations. Its a cool place to hang out after a long day of riding. Now for the bad and the reason for the 1 star review. We have stayed here 3 times now but the last trip it the reason for the review. Last fall we stayed Thursday - Sunday. While we were out riding on Saturday the owner called us saying we needed to pack up 1 cabin and get out of there bc he had someone else renting it that day.... This was a shock to us being as we had Email confirmation to prove our stay... He argued with us and made us come all the way back to camp to clean out the cabin... After we arrived back and a few arguments later he said we were ok and apologized for the situation. He told us to get ahold of him for a discount on our next stay. I reached out to him on June 6th through Facebook and his cell phone. His secratary? answered the Facebook message right away and told me they forwarded the message to him directly and he will reach out when he gets back to town.... We have been waiting 2 months for a response with no luck.... Also the grill is never cleaned, Be aware it will start your steaks on fire. There was damage to a pillar near the grill from the same thing from someone else's stay prior. The tin foil they lay in the grill def does not solve the dirty grill problem. A little cleaning and taking care of previous customers would go a long way.
