Love the honesty from Dr Ewing. He doesn’t “sugar-coat” his words, but he always has answers to your questions and concerns. He does care. He is very professional and up to date with his care and methods of getting your cancer under control. I appreciate his honesty. The Nurse’s in the chemotherapy treatment rooms upstairs are wonderful! They are so so caring about the smallest detail you are going through and are so compassionate. Mallory is my fave nurse upstairs. I just love the personal and very caring attitude she has each and every week I come in for my chemo treatments. She is a great nurse! The “lab lady” downstairs who accessed my port every week is also so warm and so professional! It hardly ever hurts when she accesses my port. She is a huge blessing and always has a warm smile! Thankful for Dr Ewing, his nurses, the chemo nurses upstairs, and the “lab lady“. Grateful this Marshall Cancer Center is just fifteen to twenty minutes down the road from our home. God bless you for your work in oncology!

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Amanda Young and her staff make you feel at home, and answered all mine and my wife's questions. Great service and very clean environment. Masks are required upon entry

Dr. Gideon Ewing and Dr. Storey are a God send to this county. On 2/15/16 they diagnosed my dad with Acute Myeloid leukemia. They were very caring and compassionate. But they didnt hide the truth. Unfortunately the leukemia was already to advanced to treat. They sent my dad home on hospice care. 3 days later my dad died peacefully at home with him by my side. I wish the hospital e.r physicians at Marshall South had the hearts and compassion that this two doctors have. Dr. Ewing and Dr. Storey if either reads this please know yall made this a little easier to deal with

I would have given 5 stars but they have an upper outdoor area that the door switch does not work to allow you to enter and leave from the treatment area. From talking to the staff this has been worked for some time. Huntsville Hospital is not doing a good job of maintenance here and at the hospitals!

My mother had an appointment and left in tears, the “doctor” there was so rude!! (Sherri Medows)The “doctor” had no compassion, no sympathy and lacked empathy! She did not even order blood work after my mom being sent to her with a blood clot. The doctor could only say, “but your on eliquis” to her over 50 times!!!! Could her degree not give my mom sufficient medical advice? No, she had to get a different doctor in there to do her job for her. She’s currently looking for a better oncologist. This place is a joke! Don’t waste your time or money!

I have blood clot and was sent there. I was ask why I was there I told them I had a blood clotting disorder. She pretty much acted like I was lying that I had to have a second test to prove this even though my mother sister has the same stuff that I have but that was OK I was going to go ahead with the test. I asked her about my INR and told her that I was worried about my blood still being too thick. She proceeds to tell me that I am on Eliquis and I swear during this visit if she said i was on Eliquis she said it 50 times! I proceeded to tell her that I’m worried and don’t understand why she’s not doing anything except saying that I’m on Eliquis I mean, does everyone take the same dose everywhere in the world and she said yes and I said I do not believe that everyone is saved by their exact dose! . I just seen someone that had a blood clot taking Eliquis for two months, and then die from a blood clot that stopped her heart. she told me that was very rare, and I asked for her to please listen to me I did not want to be the next rare person to die by Eliquis just because she’s selling it and making money off of it does not mean works for everyone why not just test my INR and see how thick my blood is if it’s working, I would be OK and feel better if I need my INR but then again I heard … your own Eliquis you don’t need tested … I’ll never understand how cold she was and not understanding how lost I was about this blood clot and how can they tell that it’s working when you’re not testing? Tried telling her that I understood some of what she was saying After seeing my mother on blood thinners, knowing her blood had to be at the fine line of bleeding out and 1 or 2 numbers off she would be throwing blood clots, why in the world Do you not test? I went home, crying not understanding anything anymore than I did when I went in actually, even more confused and scared
Thanks for nothing Sherry Meadows

Me & my husband visited today because he has a blood clot in his lung and having to have heart surgery but having to get the blood clot addressed 1st. As soon as we walked in Vicky was very rude from the get go. Not friendly at all and pointed at the sign in sheet, like she wouldn't even speak, then yelled at my husband. We wouldn't even be here if we didn't have to be. It's people like Vicky that give the medical world a bad name. She shouldn't even be dealing with customers and especially not in a cancer care center. We've had to go and do all kinds of test and everyone has been amazing but we told the heart surgeon we didn't want to go there because of how rude and unprofessional Vicky was so they got us in with Dr. Benjamin Miriovsky in Huntsville. They have been so nice and very professional.
If I can help I will never step foot in Marshall Cancer Care Center in Albertville ever again, or as long as they have employees like Vicky there.
Here's some advice for Vicky, if you don't like your job find another one and be kind to others especially ones that have health issues because you may be walking in their shoes one day. Compassion!

THIS COULD BE YOU! I am just home from the hospital. No one called critical labs to me, but when I saw them, I knew it was very serious. I am very unhappy with this clinic. I had a lung nodule show up on my scan a year ago! and was NOT informed. Since I have had metastatic cancer, this is important. When I called very upset, I was told that I WAS INFORMED, and that it was documented on the record! But no follow up was done. My family was there. There is not one person who forgets being told that they have a nodule on their lung. I don't care what you write in your record. You have made your clinic and yourself look really bad. All you had to do was be kind and do your job. May God have mercy on your soul.

My husband has been receiving IV chemotherapy treatments for cancer since August 2021. Dr. Storey has been great. I know there has been problems with scheduling. Also, Amanda Young was unprofessional. That was the first time in any doctors office ever that a nurse or doctor caring for my husband was rude.

Quite angry, I visited them in 2020. I got a bill which I paid off. I was on a payment plan, but had to jump through hoops to actually make payments. Due to their system. Then I got billed from the doctors a year later. Not a huge deal, I called to set up a payment plan. Set it up. They took the first payment, then sent me to collections 3 days later. (Payment was made May 24th and Collections said they got it May 27th.) It does reflect the payment I made. This is awful way to treat someone trying to make the payment, and told me a payment plan was fine. As I didn't want it on my credit, and I would have put it on a credit card if they where going to send me to collections.
