Silver Coach

We went on a whim, but it's clear there are regulars there. Food was fantastic, loved the inside. Waiter alright - he knew many of the other patrons and tended to get wrapped up in conversations with other tables. We had date night so that part didn't bother. He just forgot about us occasionally. Will be going back!!

We wanted to go all out for dinner at least one night on our honeymoon and chose the Silver Coach. We were not disappointed. Friendly staff, pretty and historic setting, good drinks, and amazing food. We had the short ribs as an appetizer; it was so tender you could cut it with a butter knife. We both had one of the steaks on special for our main course and they were cooked to perfect and covered in a delicious sauce. No complaints from either of us, and my husband is very particular about steaks!

Had no idea this was fine dining! It is beautiful inside. The staff was great. Had the crawfish balls for appetizers so good! Blackened tuna steak for dinner, spicy! Delicious. Will be back.

The food was great. I got the fried vegetables, a Ceasars salad and the mahi-mahi special. It tasted amazing. The atmosphere is amazing and the entry way looks amazing. The server Sydney was terrific at her job. Super bubbly and professional. The chef was also friendly. Would highly recommend a stop. There is also artwork throughout and a cool looking bar.

Excellent service, the escargot was delicious as was the fillet. Garlic potatoes round out the meal wonderfully. All around good. Was recommended by locals at quik trip, both staff and patrons. Must be a local favorite. We had no wait with no reservation on a Thursday night.

We ended up here after too long of a wait t another place. The appetizer crawfish balls were so delicious I couldn't wait to get the entree, shrimp and scallops over linguini. It was so good, I had to save room for dessert, banana foster. The flavors were heavenly; we will be back!

The food and atmosphere were excellent! Would definitely eat at again.

The Silver Coach has been our "Go To" choice for over 30 years. When customers come to town, or my children come home, the request of where to go for Dinner is always The Silver Coach!

The food that my wife and I had was AMAZING!! The flavors were awesome and something we have never had before! The crayfish balls are out of this world for flavor. The New York strip with garlic sauce is the way to go!! We will be back!

We found this gem when the wait was too long one night down the road and have been back several times 1-2 times a month. The food is absolutely fabulous tonight we had a porterhouse and a linguini shrimp scallop dish and again we were not disappointed! The flavor and quality of the food are top notch! The porterhouse melted in your mouth it was so tender! If you’re wanting an appetizer the crawfish balls never disappoint!!! Thanks for taking care of us JoJo!

We stopped in Steven’s Point on our way up North, and while searching for a restaurant with good reviews, stumbled across the Silver Coach. This place is a complete GEM. The atmosphere transports you to a different time... where you feel you are on an adventure. Our waitress Makenna promptly greeted us and when she saw my eyes light up in awe of the place, she seated us in the most exquisite little private dining rail car. Makenna was the sweetest, was very attentive and provided top notch service. It surprised us when she said she had only been there a month, as she is a teacher and picked the job up for a little something extra while she was off for summer. Every restaurant needs a Makenna. What a doll. Now let's talk about the food.... AMAZING! We had the crawfish balls, the Jambalaya, and the Blackened Tenderloin. Oh and I had the beef and barley soup with my Tenderloin. Wow, wow, wow. I highly recommend all of the above. We were completely stuffed, but we got dessert to go. The Key Lime Cannoli's were to die for. I woke up the next morning and my first thought was "I wish I had another Key Lime Cannoli!" I mean serious..... that was my very first thought and I was only half awake! We live 4.5 hours away and I would make that drive again just to eat there again! Hats off to one of the best dining experiences of my life!

Stopped in for a drink ,when they were opening for the day, just to check it out with friends. We are from out of town and already had plans to eat elsewhere. The owner (bartender) was really friendly and let us check out the space. Very cool place, and good drinks! One of the servers (also super friendly) asked if we wanted an appetizer and suggested the crawfish balls. They were really good. We will all be back for dinner sometime soon. I can’t wait to try more from the menu.

Great food & Service
This place is unique inside and well cared for. We had the evening special Porterhouse Steak & it was superb, served with onion,mushrooms & burgundy sauce.It was perfectly cooked. Also of course had their Crawfish balls as an appetizer which are always a must have. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food served.

One of three very nice fine dining experiences in the Stevens Point area. Great bar area in an old rail car to have a drink before sitting at your table, do check out the private tables in the car if they are not occupied or reserve one for your visit. Menu has a nice variety and the chef executes flawlessly!

What an amazing experience. The owners Brenda, Chef John and Staff made our dining experience well worth it.
The Trapper John 8 Oz. Filet with Blue cheese and mushrooms was one of the best steaks I have enjoyed at a Wisconsin Supper Club.

The Strip with Leeks/Gorgonzola was equally amazing.

Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. Can't wait to come back again.

Enjoyed the experience here. Great food and nice wine list. Juliette was an excellent server. They were able to accommodate us immediately - without reservations (might have been slow due to the nasty cold rain).

Very neat place, got to have dinner in the private train car. Very delicious steaks, and baked potatoes.

Decided to pop in for Friday night fish. Our meal was so delicious!! Caesar Salad, New England Clam Chowder (excellent!), Beer battered cod, potatoes crusted walleye, sautéed veggies. We finished with a to die for White Russian Chocolate Pie. So yummy. Oh, and a Key Lime Pie Martini. So yummy!

This place not only has amazing food but such an interesting dining experience in a train car. I would definitely recommend trying any of the steaks, best around by far. The Gorgonzola and leek is melt in your mouth good.

Good meal great service. Went here for my birthday and the service was outstanding. There were 3 of us and my son used a wheelchair. We made reservations and were all set when we arrived
