Camp Hidden Creek - Ashland, AL

Amazing in every way! They aim to please and said we would not be disappointed and they were right! We stopped on our way from Nashville to Orange Beach. The tent and bed were comfortable. It was so nice to drive up and have it greet us just like the pictures. The sound of the creek soothing. The fire pit comfy and beautiful all around. The shower and coffee bar a short beautiful walk away. Also a clean big porta potty close enough for middle of the night. We hope to come again! Everyone was super friendly but also gave us our space to enjoy.

Great camp site on a creek.Tent was comfortable and table and chairs were provided Ice, water, coffee and tea available. Wood available for a cost. Our dog really enjoyed it! Brenda was very helpful and super nice.

This place is absolutely outstanding. We do a lot of camping, anything from primitive, to backpacking to pull-up-the-truck and camp. Camp Hidden Creek is now one of our favorite spots.
We booked Whiskey River, which is two tents in the same camp right next to a creek. All we had to bring was food, clothes, and a few extra blankets since it was in the 40s. It’s quiet, convenient and the hosts are outstanding. They even brought a couple BB guns and bows to camp the second day for the kids to play with.
The camp had a jug of water for washing hands, cooking utensils and grills. They even have string lights, lanterns in the tents and a coffee bar up at the main house. They literally have thought of everything. And if you forget anything Ashland is 10 minutes away.
We hiked Maddox loop and it was easy to moderate, but only about a mile. All the sites are separated enough to where you won’t hear your neighbors unless you want to. I can’t think of a single negative thing about this place. Next time we’re going to get the camp called moonshine corner, it’s the one where the creek meets up with the small river. It looks gorgeous.

Just SE of Ashland, AL. We will obsoletely return to Camp Hidden Creek. Beautiful area to enjoy the Talladega National Forest. You will not be disappointed

The property is beautiful! Perfect weekend getaway. Tim was an amazing host and a great help! Our girls (12&10) never got bored and had the best time! We will be back!

Great little campground. The host is very attentive. We stayed at Whiskey Lullaby and loved it. It's also a short drive to a lot of hiking trails in the Talladega National Forest.

We had a great time for our 3 night stay! I was delighted to see string lights and a covered picnic table area which we didn’t expect. The bath house and complimentary coffee bar are both nice. They had our firewood already at the site when we arrived. The option to have a space heater in the tent was also a game changer. Highly recommend, we will be back! 👍

10/10. I cannot think of one bad thing I could say about our experience with this campground! Every camping area is private and perfectly set up to make you feel comfortable and at home, the tents are just FEET from the creek so listening to the water at night was extremely soothing, and the furnished tents were out of this world! The owner was extremely courteous and helpful and took care of any need we had. The customer service is unmatched. We plan on coming back many times in the future and we also recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade their camping experience!

Our experience with staying at Camp Hidden Creek was fantastic. There is nothing I would change about it, nor have any complaint. The owner, Andy and his family are the most kindest and sweetest people you will ever meet. They go above and beyond with the best hospitality. We enjoyed getting to know them. If you want to escape the everyday hustle and bustle then go stay alongside the beautiful creek. I can’t say more positive things about the property and owner. I highly recommend it and if you enjoy the outdoors as much as my wife and I do you will not be disappointed. I also recommend the steak dinner package. It was delicious. We are already planning our next trip.

Hidden Creek is the perfect place to unplug from the world around you. The hosts are genuinely concerned that you have all you need and make you feel so welcomed. The campsites are clean and very well equipped. Truly top of the line for tent camping. The creek is absolutely beautiful. My family will definitely be booking again!

We had the best weekend staying at Whiskey Lullaby! Camp Hidden Creek is a a great place to stay if you’re looking for a relaxing weekend away! So much to do and see on the property!

What an awesome place. We stayed in Whiskey Lullaby, which is like 10ft from creek. The sound of the creek is by far the most relaxing time anyone can have. We arrived to an extremely clean tent an well decorated. We are already booking our next stay. Andrew, Rebecca and staff are the best, always asking is there anything you need or they can help you with.

We love this place! Second time to camp here and will be back for a third. Andrew takes good care of everyone and they keep adding ways to enjoy the property. This time of year is perfect for enjoying the campgrounds and activities.

7/3/20-7/5/20 I visited Hidden Creek over July 4th holiday as a place to stay while exploring Cheaha State Park, and I couldn't have been happier with my stay. The property is beautiful and I loved falling asleep to the sound of the creek, so peaceful. With that and the comfortable bed I had great nights sleep the two nights I was there. The owners are really lovely, taught me how to start a fire my first night there and gave me great tips on local activities. I really enjoyed exploring the area, including Cheaha State Park and the High Fall trails but also was very happy to spend time at the campground.

Stayed at Moonshiners Corner and it was awesome. The sound of the creek on one side and the stream on the other with a fire going along with all the sounds of nature....pure and complete relaxation. The owner and his family are great people! Will for sure come back and stay!

What an awesome getaway! Andrew & the rest of the hosts are always so helpful & ready to do whatever it takes to make your stay a memorable one. The campsites are awesome, such a unique experience that leaves you feeling like family.

We just got back from a 2 day stay on Moonshiner’s corner. Slept great close to where the 2 creeks meet. Great place to camp, can’t wait to go back soon. Could see us going back once or twice a year. Friendly host and staff, anything you need just ask.

Just returned from a great first camping trip with our family (2 adults, 2 boys, 1 fur baby). Could not have asked for a better weekend. There was so much for our boys to do (tubing, BB gun range, making mud pies, panning for fool’s gold, hiking, s’mores, etc) and Andrew and his family were so helpful and accommodating. They checked in with us multiple times to see if we needed anything and to drop off fun freebies (treats for the dog, s’mores kits, magic powder that would turn the fire various colors for the kids). Highly recommend this place!

Camp hidden Creek is the most beautiful, quiet, scenic place my husband and I have ever been!!!!! The owners are so very sweet, caring and they are the best people I have ever met!!!! I will definitely be telling more people about camp hidden Creek and I will most definitely be going back!!!!! Thank you camp hidden Creek for allowing my husband and I to be the first ones there this year!!!!!!!!!!!!

So me and my wife camped over the weekend and we had such a great experience ! The sites are very private and the hospitality was over the top. Comfortable beds like sleeping at home. Very clean bathhouse . So come on out and enjoy yourself you want be disappointed !!
