Wellborn Musclecar Museum

This is an awesome museum. They packed a ton of really interesting and beautifully restored/preserved cars in a cool old building. The staff are super passionate and knowledgeable about these cars too. I'll be coming back for sure.

I have been to car museums all over the United States and this one stands out for a reason. We were lucky enough to have had the best of experiences with a guided tour of the museum from the most kind, knowledgeable, and well spoken guides I have ever had. This was a gift and as a mopar enthusiast I will for sure be coming back and sending more people as well.

Visited for the first time today. Staff was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Great collection of mopar vehicles (also have some Ford and GM vehicles too). Will definitely be going back in the future as they change cars out every 6 months.

This is an amazing place! It's set up like a car dealership in the 1970s. The muscle cats are amazing but the guys telling you the stories behind the cars really make it special. I'm not even a car buff and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

I'm not a car enthusiast -- just accompanied my husband on his visit. I expected to be bored as my husband talked "car stuff" with our guide. I will say, though, I was pleasantly surprised! We took the private tour and learned some really cool history about the cars. Taking the private tour is the only way to go! The tour cost $50 (weekdays only) and allowed up to five people. Plan on spending a couple of hours on the tour and then stroll through the gift shop.

This place is amazing! Alton is the best tour guide! His knowledge of the cars and their history surpasses most docents at major museums because his love for the cars makes it special. The collection is ever changing and Tim and Alton have put together a collection that should not be missed! This place is the winner! Take the private tour! Even if you aren’t interested in cars the stories Alton will tell you will make your visit amazing! It truly was an epic day! This place is truly the Art Institute (my favorite) of muscle cars! If I could give it 10 stars I would! Thank you Alton and Tim you made our day! Forever grateful!

Wellborn Muscle Car Museum was all THAT and MORE! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour by Alton. We even got to meet Mr. Tim. Wellborn. Very nice and kind man. Loved the cars! If you are in the area, stop in for sure!

This is a great car museum dedicated to 70s Mopar muscle cars. Had a great time talking to Steve and Alton. The collection is very impressive and the museum is laid out very well. I will be back.

My sister in law booked an early, private tour for 4 of us. Mr. Alton did a great job, and I would highly recommend booking with him. He keeps it interesting, and he is very informative. He definitely knows his muscle car history!

A beautiful collection of rare Mopar muscle cars! Cars are rotated from storage to the museum, so what you will see does change. The staff was friendly, informative, and personally showed us the collection. Mr. Wellborn himself happened to come in that day and took a few minutes to visit and take pictures with us. It was a great place to visit!

Awesome collection of cars. Was given a guided tour through the museum. The stories added to the experience.

We had so much fun touring this museum with our guide, Alton. Alton is awesome and made the experience better with his quick wit and entertaining storeys on each of the automobiles.

Beautiful museum of well-kept Mopars. Guide was very informative and his stories about each car were fun to hear. Everyone at the place is passionate about the vehicles and their history. Stop if you are in the area. Only open on Saturdays but we made our trip work so we could get there!

You don't have to spend money on the private tour unless you want to. The "regular" guide was awesome.

Lots of great classic Mopars. No other makes aside from one Olds 442 W30 and a couple of AMXs. Try it out and get tou fill of Chargers, Challengers And Cudas!

We did a private tour with Alton the best tour guide ever.Had a group of 12. So informative and a great storyteller! The place was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend. The atmosphere was amazing.

Mr. Alton, was fabulous, truly one of the greatest tours. My family and I enjoyed ourselves emencely. We will be going back again
