If you’re truckin’ across I-80 and you’re craving some fantastic Mexican food, stop off for delicious and authentic food at Los Altos! The Fajita Hawaiiyana, Pollo Poblano, and Pollo Cancun were definite crowd pleasers—sooo good! The whole family was satisfied.

Always outstanding service and food. We very much like the remodel. Beer is ice cold and the staff are very pleasant. We highly recommend Los Altos.

Went for lunch today and really enjoyed it. Nice restaurant, very clean. Food was excellent; fajitas and carnitas.

The food was awesome!! I got the steak burrito. Usually it only comes with 1 but it came with 2 :) the queso was on point too!!

Prompt service, broad menu selection, large portions, reasonably priced. 1st time at this location, previous experience with the location in Story City, Iowa. I had the steak fajitas which were very good (I took 1/2 home), my wife had the vegetable plate and added shrimp to it. The shrimp were large and plump, and there were easily 12-15 shrimp on her order (I didn't count, but half the order came home). Despite being very busy, our order didn't take long, and the server was very accommodating to my wife who's disabled. The restaurant is handicapped accessible, and she was able to navigate easily through the seating area. Very good experience overall, heartily recommend.

Super fast and efficient service. Food was pretty good. We had corn chips and salsa on the table before we'd removed our jackets, and drinks within a few minutes. Food came out in less time than I've had to wait for fast food. Definitely recommend and it's an easy stop if road-tripping along the I-80.

The Purge the service the people that work there the atmosphere the friendliness excellent you feel like you're at home. The food is tongue sucking good!

Stopped by while making the drive from Des Moines to Omaha. I was craving Mexican and they did NOT disappoint. It was amazing!!! Highly recommend!

Los Altos always delivers! All in all, I definitely recommend. My favorite is Taco Tuesday.

The service is top notch. They can be busy, so wait times vary, but service is quick and the staff is always polite and helpful.
The food is above average for a Mexican restaurant. The chips and salsa are good, the sides are good, and the entrees are robust and delicious. My wife likes to get chicken and rice, if it's not Tuesday, I'll get some kind of burrito, and the kids have something off the kids menu like beef nachos. It is all good and portion sizes do not disappoint. With that being said, don't order the pizza (seriously, get the beef nachos instead, you're welcome).
Prices are average, but due to portions being sizeable, they're worth every cent.
