I really like this park. Great place to camp and the grounds are always kept very nice. For some reason the fishing seems to be going down hill. It was always a great cat fishery and you had the option of chasing yellows. I have also seen large walleye come out of this lake. Lately the fish are few and far between and I am wondering if it is on the DNR list for a rebuild so they are letting the stock dwindle.

Toured the facility and was very empressed. The exhibits were impressive and educational. This is a great place to bring your family, camp and enjoy the lake, wildlife and nature.

Not sure what everybody's problem with this place is but it has great fishing ! Caught a 56 inch tiger musky out of here! They stalked it with them years ago!

Lots of area to camp, two parks, a swimming area near the nature center. Plus you can fish! Always and I promise you will always have something fun to do.
