Hodgson Produce & Greenhouses

Hodgsons produce is as good as any in the state. They keep sweet corn almost all summer. I bought some yesterday that was outstanding! All their melons are top of the line and picked daily. I always ask for help in choosing the right melons. Depends on when you want to eat it to choose the correct ripeness!

Wonderful inventory & great prices. We bought several plants & a plant stand for our deck. Spent under $60. Friendly & knowledgeable people to help you. Found out it has been in the same family for generations. A gem found in a very small town off the beaten path.

(If you've never had yellow watermelon, you HAVE to try it! The meat is yellow instead of red/pink and a little denser than regular watermelon. It is oh so sweet. )

Very nice. A new pole barn style building with at least 6 large garage doors. Ventilation was great and the staff friendly. We drove 30 miles to get a watermelon and would do it again.

Terrific selection of produce. Got a watermelon that is the sewetest juiciest one i've had in ages. And the tomatoes are like the ones my mother grew - soft sweet and juicy..... not hard centers like the grocery store. Excellent place. worth the trip!!

This is a place that you don't want to miss! It has everything. All types of flowers in great condition, lots of decor, flower pots, concrete yard ornaments, bird houses, etc. Prices are reasonable. A true quality business!

Fresh produce, plants of all kinds, yard decorations and more. They even got fairy garden figurines. I'll be back to get some watermelon when they are available.

One of best family owned nurseries in central Illinois. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and an outstanding selection (except for trees). They also have a great selection of pots, birdbaths and other garden decor.

Visited here last Summer & some stuff was just picked & brought in from the field. Friendly folks & we've been return customers. Watermelons are wonderful!

I came to Hodgson's to get watermelon. Had some last week and it was YUM!!!! Be sure to take time to linger in their courtyard. There is a shell of an old truck and they have FILLED IT with beauty!!! Bring extra money...they also have antique. Nancy

Favorite...lots to choose from. Prices are better in comparison rut o other places! They are always growing and improving. Its huge! I always go here for my flower fix!

Cool market with lots of quality items. Got a really good watermelon and cantaloupe and some other random produce. It will be a sure stop when I go by in the future.
