Port Hope Hotel

Got takeout over the weekend and everyone loved their food. The Leroy burger was no joke, it was huge. Also loved the cornmeal crusted cod bites and cheese curds.

Have heard for years that the Bay Port Hotel has great burgers from friends , and knew that M - Live had said it had the best burgers in the Michigan thumb region, but finally had an opportunity to go and try them out . And there all absolutely correct !!!! We had a 18oz Leroy burger , a patty melt and split a full order of fries, all were excellent , decent service , reasonable prices , best burgers we've had in a long time ! We will be visiting them again !

The mushrooms & onion rings we're so filling we had to bring our Leroy Burger home! 😁. Delicious and shareable for sure! Staff was friendly and drinks weren't watered down 😊

The regular size hamburger was plenty to eat and quite good, sometime, I must try the 18 ounce Leroy burger.

This is one of my go-to spots when going up north into the thumb. They have the best burgers and fries at a price that will have your forgetting about inflation.

Simply amazing to stop in and to grab a Leroy Burger!! I remember this place from when I was four years old and it is just the same as it ever was today.

Guess I'm a little biased. My parents owned it in late 40s to mid 50s. I lived there. Have never been disappointed whenever I have visited.

With a group enjoying a color ride . Stopped her for lunch. Real good food and clean. Sports on TV , music and pool game. Had a nice time. The Leroy burger is delicious and HUGE!

Keno , cold beer , friendly people. Had the Leroy Burger with 1/2 order of Waffle Fries. Nice road trip from Detroit area.

Stopped in to try a leroy burger and was not disappointed!! Our waitress was amazing as well, she was basically taking care of the whole resturaunt and didnt miss a beat taking care of us. The burger was huge!! I had a hard time finishing it but it tasted great! Onion rings were also delicious.

You need to go here! The Leroy burger is amazing! Maria our waitress was so positive and energetic! Leroy himself was there as well interacting with the patrons which added to the visit and made it even more special! Great place to go for all occasions. Awesome Tv's to watch all of your sports games!

The Leroy Burger was impressive and delicious. Glad I was there with someone who could split it with me. 5 of us shared a waffle fry easily. The kids shared a single burger and a bbq pork sandwich and we still had leftovers. Service was fast and friendly. We will be back again.

The food is good ,menu shrunk but new owner has plans to renovate and fix it up so time will tell ,I just hope they don't take the old time hangout atmosphere out of it ,it matches the age of the town

Just spent a amazing weekend in Port Hope for a friends wedding. The friendly staff treated us like family. Remembered us the next day. The food was great. The price was great!!! The quantity of food was unreal for the price. Highly recommend. Thank you Port Hope Hotel for a great weekend from an OHIOan. Will be back!! And I will finish the Leroy burger.

I only can get half of a Leroy Burger down my neck. Very tasty!!! Fried mushrooms to die for. Staff is very pleasant and efficient.
