Mel's Coffee House

I found this place on accident. I stayed in town and needed a cup of coffee in the morning and stumbled on this GEM. The place is cozy, the drinks are hot and delicious and the staff was absolutely incredible. What a great spot!

The owner is always so kind and makes sure to talk to me everytime I come in! The food and coffee are phenomenal. A very warm and welcoming place to all kinds of people! A great place to hang out, get school work done, or just eat!

Stopped in for the first time. Great atmosphere! The staff is friendly and the coffee is good. I wanted a Euro style espresso which they didn't have on their menu but they were happy to whip it up for me anyway. I had their quiche with gouda, spinach and tomato. The eggs were fluffy and delicate in a generous portion. My bill came to about $7.00 for 2 drinks and food. This place is an absolute gem that anyone can afford and enjoy. This will be a new regular for me. I absolutely recommend.

Update: I have now had their tortellini soup and their pumpkin crepe. Both are excellent!

Update: I had their turtle crepe today. The crepe is tender cover by a generous helping of whipped cream, caramel and nuts.

Update: I had the Nutella Chocolate crepe today. It is nutty, chocolate, creamy deliciousness.

Always a pleasant time at this comfortable coffee house! Courteous & respectful staff who go the extra mile 🥰 Its a favorite of mine! Oh my, the specials of the day are the most delicious ever! I have not found another coffee house to come close!

Mel introduced herself and talked me in to trying the Carmel Apple Pie Chai. Hot dang am I impressed! My girlfriend's pumpkin cold brew coffee was amazing also! The service is 10/10, thank you so much for hiring such a kind staff.

I absolutely love this coffee shop! It is one of my favorite places to relax, reflect, write, and work on my computer because of the atmosphere that Mel created. She has made this place feel so comfortable; almost like you are a part of the family. I appreciate her, and her business, very much!

I've taken my kids to Mel's cafe a few times for a special occasion. They're always cheerful, helpful and kind. Today, my 5 year old dropped her cupcake off her plate and even though it was completely our fault and I was ok with her eating it because the cupcake was wrapped in paper the ladies insisted that she take a new cupcake. Overall, a wonderful, comfortable place where we love getting coffee and treats.

The food and coffee was absolutely AMAZING! The service was also fantastic, and all the staff here had a big smile on their face. Definitely coming back here on a regular basis!

Was our first time here, and everyone was very down to earth and friendly. Breakfast and coffee were great!

Coffee was very good and I especially liked the large selection of flavorings they have for lattes, etc. I got violet, a hard to find flavor that I really enjoy!

Great food and friendly staff. The staff is very creative when it comes to their recipes putting together ingredients I wouldn't have thought of and making the flavors meld in an amazing fashion. A word or advice, don't let an odd combination sway you from ordering something, give it a try! My wife and I have eaten there many times trying lots of things and have never been unhappy with the flavor medley we were served!

I absolutely love this place. From the first time I visited this place, I felt right at home here. The staff is super friendly and so is the owner. You will often find the owner chatting with all the customers. I could sit and talk for hours. Not only is it super welcoming, cozy and cute but the food and drinks are delicious as well.

Our absolute favorite place to get cozy in and spend the morning in a good book with some amazing breakfast or stop in for a quick coffee on the way through town. Best crepes around and the chicken salad is to die for! Not to mention the nicest people you’ll meet! Our favorite place by far! Recommend to anyone!

Love to stop in for a quick sandwich, some dessert, and an iced coffee. There's usually a variety of interesting offerings and I have a tough time making a decision. The owner is really friendly as well. The inside is comfy- a nice hangout spot to grab coffee with a friend and catch up.

Great carrot cake & chai! They have a huge game shelf, and such a cozy inside!
