The food and drinks were delicious. Just as impressive was the service. The entire staff was hustling to give great service. From the time we were seated we were well taken care of. I believe they may have been short staffed because the servers were literally sprinting to take orders, serve food and drink and clean tables. This kind of strife to give great serve is rarely seen. I definitely recommend giving them a try. Unfortunately I neglected to take pictures because it looked and smelled delicious and was gone before I knew what I was doing. The chips were fresh and delicious but one thing I wish were different is if they would add a salsa. The pico was great but I like a salsa to eat with chips instead of pico.

We had our 2 dogs w us and sat on the deck area. The staff welcomed us AND the dogs right away! Service was fast and food was amazing! They were dog friendly.(as opposed to the first place qe stopped at, were they were rude and abrupt when greeted and sent us to an enclosed dog area). If we find ourselves in the area we will definitely come back.

They were warm friendly, and welcoming. We had 2 dogs with us and the host, waiter and waitress were accomedating. Food was wonderful, and atmosphere was easy, laid back.

Food is really good here only complaint is the small Portion of beans and rice.

Other than that everything had flavor my favorite was my mothers Sopes wished I had ordered that for my self.

Wow this place was a surprise and pretty darn authentic for MI. The food was fresh and homemade. They use the authentic queso fresco. I was pleasantly surprised to see Sopes on the menu which did not disappoint. No El Pastor but the pork was still good and had a little pibil seasoning. Drinks and service were also top notch.

I grew up in a Mexican family, and there is no other food that I love more than authentic mexican food. My wife and I loved the food here! Big portions, as any Hispanic family would do, full of flavor, none left to take home. Definitely my favorite restaurant in South Haven now, and will definitely be coming back. On top of the food being amazing the drinks are better!

The owner was walking around talking to everyone and making everyone feel welcome, it was great to see.

Great place for lunch. The staff was amazing and they are able to accommodate a gluten allergy with no problem. Make sure you try the tomatillo salsa!

This place was awesome! The Puerco Chimichanga was life changing DEEP! That burrito has me asking questions about whatever in the world I thought good was. WHY WOULD YOU ORDER NACHOS?! GET THE PUERCO AND JOIN ME ON A HIGHER PLAIN OF TASTING EXPLOSIONS! Strawberry margarita was so good I slammed a pitcher. Hook me up to the tequila strawberry Thor’s hammer and send me to the tasty moon. Family friendly and good food.

Great food. Haven’t had a bad meal here yet. Service can be a bit slow, but other than that, it’s great. The owner is very nice and passionate about his restaurant. It’s one of my favorite places in south haven when I visit.

Fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff. I used to live in Mexico, and recognized a number of items on this menu that one does not typically see at U.S based Mexican restaurants. I have learned to temper my expectations when eating Mexican food in the Midwest, but I was not at all dialing this time. Everything was delicious and I will be back.

We are from South Haven and this is one of our favorite local restaurants. Love the food and drinks. The only downside is that it gets so busy with all of the tourists and they close down in the off season. We'd go year round if they stayed open.

The best tamales in West Michigan! We’ve had them several times now and I have yet to be able to get a photo of them because we practically inhale them. The staff and manager are very friendly too. We always look forward to a trip to Su Casa!

This restaurant has tamales on the menu so you know it’s going to be good. I had the chorizo burrito with a side of rice. It’s about as authentic as it gets as far as the menu it’s a traditional menu but just really amazing authentic Mexican food. The atmosphere was great also caught them at the town farmers market ordered a couple dozen tamales pico and rice . The tamales were amazing you will not go wrong here . It’s one of Southaven’s best and most authentic your gonna find in the area . You will not be let down I promise ! Give them a taste !

what i love about Su Casa is the vegan black bean tamales they offer. i dont see that any other mexican type restaurant.
i also love the outdoor patio with the happy latin music playing and the view of the marina .
i also really appreciate the servers i have had who take their time to really make sure you are taken care of.
