Kayla's Kafe

We absolutely LOVED this little 50's diner. The burger was in the top five of best we've ever had! Absolutely amazing. The coffee was hot and fresh. Kayla was absolutely charming. Also, the whole place is REALLY clean. Definitely will be back! :)Closed in the afternoon so get there

Breakfast was terrific. The owner Kayla is very nice and friendly. Brian's Apple Pie was to die for. Prices are spot on. Atmosphere is small town cafe, very pleasant. We will definitely be going back for more!

Absolutely love this diner and it's proprietors! Kayla and Brian make everyone feel like family, and their food is home-cooked deliciousness! The Navaho Taco is superb, but be sure to save room for some of Brian's desserts. If there is cheesecake, in any form, I highly suggest trying it!

Keep in mind, they only take cash, which is refreshing and I'll always stop at an ATM so that I can come in and feast at this place (:

Last minute travelers
We stopped in, desperate for coffee during our travel home from labor day weekend camping. It was due to close in ten minutes, but the staff immediately greeted us warmly, made a fresh pot, and welcomed us right in.
Utterly charming atmosphere, an obvious part of the community. SUPER clean, and a great - if short, visit. Will be stopping on our next trip north.

Kayla's on meatloaf Monday is the best. This small restaurant has obviously never heard of Gordon's Food. Kayla's serves home cooked delicious food. You will not find better soup anywhere. Brian's pies are so good we drive miles out of our way to stop there for pie and coffee.

Nice place north of Marlette to stop for breakfast. Half way from Detroit suburbs to Port Austin. Staff is very friendly. Food was good and served quickly. Plenty of parking.

Kayla is fantastic. The place is very friendly, the food was great. Wish we lived closer so that we could stop in to visit more often!
