North Bridge Auto Plaza

Last April 19, 2023 I was driving on I 90 late at night. There was a severe storm with lightning, heavy rain and a high velocity headwind. The vehicle started to shutter. I had to slow way down. I was eastbound about 5 miles west of Albert Lea. I pulled off at exit 157. Fortunately, North Bridge Auto Plaza was close by but it was closed. Since it was after midnight I pulled into the car lot, called their office, left a message and waited. First thing in the morning a young man named Nate came up to my vehicle and said he could pull it in to take a look. A little later the manager okayed the repairs that were needed, even though the work was unexpected for them. A spark plug housing was cracked and the plug had gotten wet. I was back on the road by 9:30am. I was grateful and amazed by the attention I received. It was a great help to me. I was 500 miles away from home and still had three hours left to get to my destination so I was greatly relieved to have the car running good and very appreciative of the men at North Bridge Auto Plaza who offered their service with such a helpful attitude.

I cannot recommend North Bridge Auto Plaza enough when it comes to a vehicle purchase. Chris was excellent to work with, no sales pitches or pressure to buy, just honest and ethical conversation. Dealing with a smaller, local team has its perks including affordable finance rates and prompt communication through the entire process. 10/10 service.

Hooray for North Bridge! My family was road tripping out west from Wisconsin. Once on the road and the heat of the day started, we noticed the AC wasn’t very cold. In a panic, I called several places that said they couldn’t help. I found North Bridge on the map near I90 and called them and explained the situation and that we were about 20 minutes away. They told me to bring it by and they’d take a look (it was a Saturday no less). We were in and out in less than an hour with cold air blowing!!!!!! Thank you so much for saving our family road trip!!!

Traveling back from Minnesota to Oklahoma the fuel pump quit on the truck. Got it to North Bridge and they fixed it in a days time and got me back on the road. Thank you!! Highly recommend this professional business!!

These guys are truly 5 star. We were traveling down I-35 with a trailer full of horses when our transmission started to give out. We went to three different shops before we found North Bridge. They directed us to park our horse trailer on the street and they got us in ASAP. Luckily, it was just a loose hose! Joe fixed it up and took it on a test drive to make sure the leak was fixed. In an out with no wait, and the bill was almost nothing. On top of that, we had complimentary coffee and hot chocolate while we waited! These guys are amazing and I would limp my vehicle an extra 10 miles just to make it to their shop next time! Thanks!

Got a flat tire while traveling for work. Drove in for repair and they made me a priority fixing my tire within 20 minutes! Really appreciate them fitting me into their schedule without any notice. Back off to work in no time. Thank you and definitely recommend them.

Minnesota Spay Neuter Assistance Program (MN SNAP) is a mobile veterinary clinic based in Minneapolis providing affordable spay/neuter services around the state. We had a clinic in Albert Lea on Monday, and on arrival we noticed the bracket holding the exhaust pipe for our truck was broken and the pipe was almost touching the ground. It was definitely not safe to drive the vehicle back to Minneapolis, and we were considering canceling our clinic scheduled in another city the next day. North Bridge Auto Plaza was just around the corner, so we walked over and explained the situation. They were more than willing to help on a moment's notice and offered to take a look at the end of the day when we'd finished surgery. When we arrived, they came out right away to assess the problem and proceeded to fix it on the spot. We were incredibly grateful for their help -- they saved our evening and our upcoming clinic! Not only that, the very generous manager donated this service to our organization free of charge. The people working at North Bridge Auto Plaza have hearts of gold! Thank you so much from the MN SNAP team!

I needed a repair done as soon as possible. They got me in and fix the problem. The bill was extremely reasonable. I am so happy with them! I would recommend them to everyone!

Awesome!! Noticed a nail in my tire when refueling as was just traveling thru so ran by this shop to fix it. They jumped right on it and had me back on my way in no time. If I lived near this place would be my go to shop everytime.

They let me in right away in the morning, carved time out to take a look at my car. Even though it was a bigger fix than I was hoping, they took care of it that day allowing me to get back on the road and not be stranded halfway between my home and destination.
