I took my son to the emergency room and the staff were amazing! Each one was kind, helpful, and thoughtful, from the nurse to the doctor to the admin staff. Zero waiting time was a huge plus. Great experience and would happily recommend this emergency room.

To say that I love this hospital and it's staff is an understatement! I've always had such wonderful experiences from general appointments, to giving birth to my daughter to most recently getting my Covid vaccine. I thank everyone here for all that they do! You are the real heroes

My husband had an emergency and we came right in, they got us in right away, were very caring, asked all the questions to figure out what was wrong and diagnosed him quickly and gave him some pain relief! Our nurse, dang it I cant remember his name (tall man, short hair, funny) was hilarious, so personable, easy to talk to and made us feel like we were in great hands and we definitely were! I highly recommend this hospital!

Rotator cuff surgery on March 11, 2022. Staff was amazing. Dr Gibbons did the surgery and I am very pleased, but a huge shout to Bertie you went above and beyond. Highly recommend Dr Gibbons and his team.

Absolutely wonderful. It's so nice to have a doctor that will listen to you and actually try and figure out what's wrong. I am now from now on going here if I need anything.

Rebecca is the most amazing Schedule Person there. She helps me everytime very efficient. Knows her job very well!

Good But Annoying. I always seem to get a Doctor that's on a power trip. A lesson in Humility would be good for many of them as there out of four I have dealt with Here treated me and my family like we were so below them.

I received a call from my Grandmother late in the evening on Easter just sobbing because no one called her while in the hospital. People did. Cell phone reception there was awful and a nurse would pick up and hang up on me or rudely yell at me and ask what my relationship was to her even if i called two minutes after she had called me. I had tried calling even the reception area and would get no answer throughout the day or would be hung up on once I reached nurses. Once I got her direct to the room I still couldnt call without reaching a rude person who hung up on me and eventually the line was disconnected. It should be a requirement that you treat people with respect. My poor grandmother was so lonely and the fact that I lived so far away and was denied access was wrong. Very wrong!!

Used to be a good place to go, hard to get real answers. One star isn’t my choice I’d give them zero. Not going back there anymore. Maybe all essentia health clinics are the same not treated like a human being by some drs or lack of caring for minority’s by all healthcare syestems. I recommend nobody use the deer River or Grand Rapids clinics
