Not just a bait shop! While my husband bought our fishing licenses and a new rod, our 4 year old found a cool t-shirt and I bought a much needed sun hat (and it was a cute one, something I'm not used to finding in the stores my husband frequents). Definitely recommend stopping in.

We weren’t experienced fishers and some some pretty simple (even maybe dumb) questions and everyone at Bens was amazing in helping us!! Never made us feel like we had bad questions. They helped us amateurs figure out what bait to use, where to fish, as well as tips, tricks and techniques. Highly recommend!!

The man who was at the counter on the day I was in the store was so kind, and we had a wonderful conversation. His wedding to his beautiful fiancee is going to be magical.

The kind of bait store I was looking for when I first came to Ottertail County. More than enough fishing gear and the place to go to get your warmer weather wear for being around the water. Great people and an up to date grease board of your favorite lakes and what is biting on what.

Wonderful bait shop, has the small town feel with big town selections. Don't forget to check out the ice castle store while you are here! I absolutely loved how they had the area fishing reports posted inside. Great to know how the bite is going in the area.

Been coming here for years. Always stop in the morning for minnows before we go out for day and always have had friendly workers that seem to enjoy their jobs and interacting with customers. Their t-shirts and hoodies are better than anything you can find on the internet.

They have a variety of live and fake baits. Also have lots of other fishing equipment to choose from. Their service is great and always know what they're doing. They have great apparel there. And even have some new items for apparel this year like sweatpants. Everything is great quality!

We come to Ben’s each summer for all of our fishing and bait needs while staying at our cabin. The staff is always friendly and helpful and they always have just what we are looking for! Don’t forget to check out their large selection of hoodies and T-shirts, the best selection in Battle Lake.

These guys have a great selection of Battle Lake shirts and other misc. lakes shirts great for birthday or just a present! Very reasonably priced. They also have live bait and anything u can imagine for fishing. Very friendly courteous service.

Always nice and prices are good, check here first before trying to drive to Fergus Falls. They had good selection of rods for little ones and all sizes of life jackets, even infant (we were having problems finding them). Don't forget all the lake t-shirts and sweaters.

Ben’s bait is an excellent one stop shop for all fishing needs! They have a great selection of bait and fishing equipment for all levels at very reasonable prices. The entire staff was extremely friendly and knowledgable. They were helpful in answering all of my questions and gave great advice. I will be buying all of my fishing supplies here from now on :)

My family returns here every year for quality souvenir t shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and jackets. They also carry Minnetonka shoes and a few trinkets. There is also a nice video selection of you encounter a rainy day and want to just enjoy a movie and snacks on the couch. The other side of the store is fishing supplies, so anything you need ...stop in here!

This place feels like home. The staff is wonderful, the selection is huge, and they have everything you could possibly need for a quiet vacation on the lake. Really really enjoyed visiting this town, and this store is a big reason why!
