Five Star Bank

I use the Auburn, NY Five Star office to do our banking. I always have a great experience there. The ladies are always accommodating and friendly, very helpful!!

My father had an account here, getting anyone to call me back when he passed has been a huge hassle. They have one person designated to handle these requests and her phone goes straight to voicemail. They sent the death certificate back without even a note explaining what the next steps will be. Horrible experience, can't imagine why anyone would put money there.

Also have an issue with Josie. Does not return calls or update her voicemail. Please don't tell me the usual " we're sorry about your experience. Please call....." How about instead you return my calls? That's doing something about it

Customer service is horrible. Very rude especially Josie Apparently she talks to everybody rude and she’s ok with that and then refused to put on the manager on the phone after asking for one. They need to be a little bit more compassionate, because they don’t understand what people are going through. Will not be recommending this bank. And if you speak another language, other than English, your best bet is to find another bank who will help.

It's impossible to make a car payment. When I call I get a half answer and hurried off the phone and my issue is not resolved, even after numerous phone calls. Do not bank with them.

Dishonest people, don’t ever finance your vehicle or anything from them, rip off!!!
