I had a nice experience purchasing a Craftlander pontoon lift from Lifts and Docks. I found them easy to work with, as well as more interested in my business than several of their competitors.

Julian and Nick were great showing me how to install the canopy when I finally had my boat in the water. I really like the electric lift with remotes. In and out is now a breeze!

We found lifts and docks through an ad on Craigslist and decided to give them a call. They are so knowledgeable, extremely helpful and friendly answered all our questions and setup up a consult for Tim to come out and look at our frontage to see if The type of dock set up with boatlift was going to be feasible given the slope of our shoreline we live on Lake Nokomis and the shoreline varies significantly. They had no problem coming out discussing our plans with us, then they drew up the plans made an appointment went over everything with us. They are completely professional and honest people. From the first call to the last visit for the installation completion, We felt completely at ease. No hassling or frustration. everything went super smooth and we couldn’t be happier with the process and the Lakeside oasis they created for us. They did their ultimate best to ensure we were completely satisfied. Tim is a perfectionist. He loves what he does and his hard work shows. We Absolutely love our Lakeside oasis!

Great working with Jen and Tim! They were both very knowledgeable and helpful with the purchase and installation of my docks and boat lift. After receiving a quote on a new boat lift from a competing company which left me in complete shock over the price, I wasted countless hours looking at used lifts. I then found their add on Craigslist, and though skeptical when I saw the low price, I called. Tim, the owner, was very helpful on the telephone and has models on display in Rhinelander. I stopped by was very impressed with the quality of the lifts. I purchased the lift and it was installed less than a week later... on the wrong side of my pier! (read on, this is where they step up and earn the review).

We've all had experiences with companies where something didn't go quite right, and more often than not what should be a simple matter becomes a nightmare. Not with Lifts and Docks! Tim replied to my message immediately, apologized and had it fixed by the next day.

This company not only offers an excellent product at a price far less than the competitor, they also offer excellent and personalized service. After purchasing our boat lift I immediately followed up with the purchase of a jet-ski lift, which was installed professionally roughly a week after I ordered.

The lift installed by Lifts and Docks deserves a 5 star rating. The service deserves a written review on top of the 5 star rating.

On a side note, we love having a lift. We went from rarely using our boat, to using it continuously while we're at our vacation home. Not inexpensive, but a good investment that I'm sure will last for decades.

We purchased a dock this summer and could not have been more pleased with the process. Jen is the best to work with, answering all of my questions and addressing all concerns. My parents also purchased a dock, and then wanted to reconfigure and add sections to have something larger - not a problem for Lifts & Docks and Jen. After calling around a few places and finding out we could not get the dock pieces we needed for our old dock, a neighbor recommended Lifts and Docks. We stopped in and spoke to Jen. Very professional and super nice to sit with, she quoted us a price for a new dock. We had called another place earlier that week and got sticker shock! Jens price was very fair and perfect for what we needed.We ordered the next day and our dock was installed a week later! The crew showed up on time, they were very professional and friendly.

Tim and his team are great to work with! When I bought a new Manitou Tri-toon a few years ago I needed a new lift. Tim assembled it and installed it at my cottage. The lift works great! He is very helpful from a service standpoint when you do something silly like crank the lift up the wrong way and tear into the housing…simply explained how to fix with a step by step video! Because my cable got damaged tearing through the metal housing, it snapped and he quickly had the replacement on my doorstep within days of my text to him! I highly recommend Tim & his company!!

Jen did a great job of finding us a lift and Tim did a timely delivery and installation. Jen and Tim came to my house on a Saturday, the day after I called them about a problem, and shortly thereafter both were in the water in their street clothes fixing the problem. How’s that for service?
