Rocket Inn

The Rocket Inn is truly a hidden gem. From beginning to end our experience was fabulous. We stayed here on a road trip around NM and our stay at the Rocket Inn was enough to want to come back again someday.

We were greeted at the front desk by the friendliest woman, I regret not asking her name as she was incredibly kind and helpful during our entire stay. She showed us to our room which was perfectly clean and comfortable. She showed us how to use the AC unit as things were warming up in May and we were grateful to have it! She told us a bit about the town and how we came at an exciting time due to a major motion picture being filmed in the town!

By the time we were leaving the following morning, we were able to chat with her and the owner (who were in the middle of cleaning the rooms, I find it admirable to see the owner cleaning the rooms herself!).

Our stay at Rocket Inn was absolutely lovely and memorable for years to come. Thank you so much!

Stayed one night at this very stylish, refurbished motor lodge. I was alone with my two kids and felt perfectly safe staying. I believe the owner checked us in and she was very friendly to my kids and gave us good recommendations. She saw us to the room to make sure we were comfortable. Spent a very restful night. The beds were made properly, like so many are not these days and little touches like a couple water bottles in the room made it a really great stay.

My discovery of the Rocket Inn in Truth or Consequences was like finding a hidden treasure. I stumbled upon it while searching for an affordable yet pleasant place to stay near Elephant Butte Lake State Park. This motel turned out to be an absolute gem, radiating the charm of a bed and breakfast with the added excitement of its rocket-themed decor.

It’s clear that the theme is celebrated with love and creativity, providing a unique and memorable stay. But what really saved the day, especially in the New Mexico heat, was the air conditioning - a true lifesaver.

The cleanliness of the motel deserves a special mention. It was spotless, making the stay comfortable and worry-free. The hospitality was equally impressive. The woman at the check-in was not only welcoming but also full of great recommendations for exploring the local area.

Its proximity to Elephant Butte Lake makes it an ideal summer getaway, while the nearby hot springs offer a cozy retreat in the winter. This versatility makes Rocket Inn a year-round destination in Southern New Mexico, perfect for any budget traveler looking for a stay that’s out of this world. 🚀

As soon as we arrived it felt very welcoming. the lady that was on the front desk walked us to our room and explained how to use the heater/AC. The rooms were very beautiful and clean! I would definitely go back in the future 10/10

We love to go do soaks at the hot springs. We stayed at Rocket Inn for 2 nights. There was so much good things about our stay. Rooms we very clean. We needed more coffee they supplied it no problem. We met the owners on our last night, super nice. I wanted a odd shaped tapestry I found downtown, they were willing to let us get it mailed to us from the inn, as long as we got it ready. We were on a motorcycle. Unfortunately we could not find a boxtgat it coukd fit in, everything was closed that had boxes. We recommend this inn highly. Thank you so much!

Super happy to find this place! Very clean, excellent "retro" style decore (seemed to have been very recently remodeled), and friendly service. So glad we skipped the chain motels/hotels and found this!

We traveled to New Mexico from Kansas and stayed at the Rocket Inn while on our trip and had such a wonderful experience! We arrived after the office closed and normal check-in time and the staff ensured we had everything we needed to get into our room. The rooms were clean, well-lit, and had everything you need. It was such a cute and lovely place to stay. We can't wait to be back!

The Rocket Inn is a small motor lodge style motel in Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico. It's got a friendly vibe and it has a fun atmosphere. The staff was friendly. The room was need and clean. The AC worked well (important in the desert). It has a nice little picnic area outside that was a fun place to relax with a beer and enjoy the sunset. One thing I really liked was that the Rocket Inn doesn't just allow you to bring pets, they have amenities to make your furry friend's stay nice too. The room came with a 'pet kit' that included a water bowl, some treats, and supplies to clean up after your pet. That impressed me and my wife. Even though we didn't travel with our dogs, it's always nice to find places that are this accommodating to them. The place also had a very "1960's- Route 66" feel to it that added to the enjoyment. I highly recommend this as a good place to stay when you're in Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico.

Great 60's style motor inn in the quirky town of T or C. The owner was so nice when we made the reservations. Our room was great and very clean. Right in the middle section of town so close enough to both the walmart and also downtown area. Turned out to be much quieter than I expected being of the main road through town. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip through.

Rocket Inn is conveniently located and quiet. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and had no issues. However, a suggestion for future travelers: if you book four people in a room, it is a tight fit and you would have more room if you booked two people per room.

We Drove a U-Haul from Salt Lake City Utah and stayed in this awesome little place rocket in the lady was so nice told us the awesome story about how it all came about the rooms were excellent. They were nice and clean that atmosphere was lovely. I must stay the little town is surrounded by natural Hot Springs.

This is a super cute, quiet, clean place to stay. I had seen the sign before and never thought much of it. Well, with the busy labor day weekend, we had limited selection and ended choosing Rocket Inn for it's reviews. I'm so glad we did. Will definitely stay here again.

Very sweet and simple room but with everything we needed. They even provided towels for our soak at the hot springs.

Charming, retro, clean. Had a room with 2 queen beds. Every corner of the room was spotless. Amenities like coffee maker, pet supplies, pristine white bed linens and towels. Reasonable rates, and contact-free check-in is an option. Very friendly staff.

Having to stop in T or C unexpectedly and get a room for the night was not the plan for our travels. Checking into the Rocket was the most pleasant and friendly customer service we have experienced in a hotel/motel service. The owners went out of their way to take my husband to our broken down vehicle to take care of our belongings. Rooms were great and if I could I would rate 10 stars! Thank you do much to the owners you have no idea how much we appreciated your kindness and wonderful establishment.

I stayed here years ago and it was nice, clean, and peaceful. Guess what. It still is!

I stayed here one night with my sibling in early January 2022. THe bed was so big and comfortable. The room was exquisitely clean. So many pillows! The microwave and mini fridge in the room was great because we could make some meals in the room. The bathroom was clean. No bathtub, but the shower is huge and has a built in seat. The whole property was very quiet and safe. The property is close to all of the fun of downtown T or C.

This is a great place to stay. Oh, and it's dog friendly. I would recommend the Rocket Inn to anyone.

The Rocket Inn is a fully renovated old school road trip motel so the rooms open onto the courtyard where you park your vehicle. Very clean and comfortable rooms and friendly owners/hosts who live on the premises. Great location close to the historical district in T&C and local hot springs
