Tony's Mexican Restaurant

This place was delicious, with huge portions. The service was great. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting T or C.

Tony’s is awesome. We both had the Chile Rellinos with the tasty red sauce and Churros for breakfast! Our server Laura was super busy, but handled things perfectly, and was very personable and friendly the whole time. Anytime we’re in T or C we make it a point to dine at Tony’s. It’s always a treat!

I’ve lived in NM my entire life. I’ve been all over the state and eaten in almost every small town. This place might be the best NM food in the state. It’s insane, and I don’t understand how it’s this good. El Farolito in El Rito might be the only rival. And a few places in Hatch area. Do yourself a favor and go here. If you write a negative review of this place, I question you as a human being. No frills, all delicious. My plate was 8.50

I got some of the best food I've had in years here, absolutely shocked me how cheap the bill was too. If you want a bunch of amazing food for a low price go here, you won't regret it.

The restaurant is a bit shabby but if I could give 6 stars I would because the food is BAM BAM BAM!!! Stuffed sopapilla dinner and combination plate -red sauce and rice were some of the best I’ve eaten in New Mexico! Everything on our plates was cooked with excellent flavor!! Very few restaurants I’ve been to rate this highly for me. Our compliments to your chefs and wait staff!

Flavor PLUS! This restaurant is a must stop for authentic, flavorful Mexican food. We loved it so much that our plates were empty, and we ordered 2 extra orders of rice and beans with an order of red and green sauce to go.

Great lunch on a Saturday morning while passing through town. The front desk at the hotel recommended this restaurant over a few others I saw I google and I’m glad he did. The food was perfectly prepared at a good price. Service was fast and the setting was comfortable. Highly recommended.

Was an amazing lil spot. Service was hand down amazing. Also everything we had was perfect. And the salsa was amazing. So good our lil one (7years old) was tearing it up. Even thought it had heat up front. Their red sauce is a must for any dish. And the Mexican burger I had , was so freaking good. I would come back , hands down.

I was going to Elephant Butte outlook (on my way from Las Cruces to ABQ) and was looking for a place to grab something to go. I wanted a local place vs a chain and decided on Tony’s. I’m glad I did! The chicken chimichanga had lots of flavor and the serving size was more than enough. I got my puppy dog a plain soft chicken taco and she ate it up too! 😁 I was only in Tony’s for maybe 15 mins but I enjoyed the locals eating & visiting with each other. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll stop and eat inside!

Small restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. When there was a problem with one of the orders, it was handled promptly by our waitress. Close enough to I-25 to stop off and have a meal if driving through Truth or Consequence, NM.

I Love Everything Tony makes, especially the rice. I love the chicken taco salad with extra lettuce and rice on the bottom. I love the chimichangas, the tacos, tamales and they have the best chips and salsa in town. I would drink the salsa if I could lol! Also love their breakfast food. Pancakes and sausage are amazing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had the Beef fajitas and the Carne asada quesadilla. Man these were some flavorful plates! A must try and a must come back!
Quesadilla has 4 pieces I got ahead of myself. N these r pretty big plates. Good prices. Great service.

Breakfast was amazing, and that's saying a lot coming from a bacon lover. The Huevous Rancheros is wonderful. Judging by the number of locals, I presume the Menudo is spectacular. I plan to have it next time.
