Carole Wheeler Dog Park

I wasn't really at the dog park.
We were at Ralph Edward's Park for a wedding.
The park was clean. When we were there they had just started the gazebo.
The restroom was clean.

Several different runs available for groups or a solitary run. Pond available for kids and seniors fishing on the weekends.

Great place to get out some wiggles! Very well cared for park thanks to THE Carole Wheeler and other volunteers. Benches, shade, water. Plus three separate areas for large dogs, small dogs and a private pen. We go as often as possible :) There are usually multiple tennis balls floating around, too!

Clean and quite. It was our first time there and definitely won't be out last!

This place is great and right in the heart of the city! The dog loved this visit. We met locals Carol and her dog Chance. We were just passing through but it is a wonderful place to take your dog to run leash free!

Love this off leash dog park, conveniently located on S. Date St., south of Family Dollar. Plenty of parking, grass and trees, separate areas for large, small and dogs needing less stimulation. Super clean and monitored by wonderful volunteers. The park has great views of Turtleback mountain and the river. All socialized non-aggressive dogs welcome but must show proof of rabies vaccine.

Nice little park with duck pond. Dog park on the side. Nice place to sit or walk around.

Honestly, if you wanna meet good folks come hang out with some friendly dog people at this park. Idk of a better opportunity to socialize with mostly good people these days, but a lot of the regulars are a solid bunch here and it's part of the reason I came back to this place after spending the scariest part of 2020 down here.

Great location for a dog park. It's well maintained, has grass, as well as different sections for big dogs, small, and a private one for those who need separation from both. Usually lots of dogs there which is great because my three girls need socialization with others. They provide water, bowls, sometimes leave toys for them, as well as pick-up bags. Only complaint is that there are thorns that grow within the grass, which of course grow almost everywhere here, but at a dog park it sucks that I have to pick them out of my poor dog's paws frequently.

Love the dog park! Most owners are friendly and respectful. The park is maintained nicely. My dogs go crazy when they know we are headed there!

Met Carol Wheeler and a group of friendly volunteers at the park this morning. Wonderful outing for me and my dog. Three off leash areas for dogs and people to enjoy.

Probably the cleanest dog park we’ve been to. Our dogs had a great time. Pet owners paid attention to their dogs and were very friendly.
