Sierra Vista Hospital and Rural Health Clinic

Emergency room visit on January 13, 2024 for complications due to a dog bite. The staff and doctor gave me excellent care. Nurse Liza and Michaela were kind and empathetic. Dr Stephens explained the procedure doing what I thought was a great job. I'm highly impressed with the quality of nurses and doctors and support staff at the Sierra Vista hospital emergency room. I will not hesitate to return should the need ever arise. 5 stars!

Not sure why this place has such low ratings. I am from Georgia which has the worst healthcare in the country, so maybe my opinion is different, but I had no problems with my visit and got excellent care. The nurse Kristi and the doctor were great. Dr. explained exactly what was wrong and the possible solutions I could take and that while vertigo is scary it’s not a sign of an urgent health issue. Would recommend them to anyone.

Finally! All other emergency rooms can be gone! This is the best ER iv been it! There's super nice and treat you the way a hospital is supposed. Very nice Nurse name Carlos he is an amazing nurse! Very kind and very upbeat. Just all around great nurse. Very pleased!

I would like to thank all the personal who attended my father. We are a family from El Paso Texas and they treated us with great respect and love. Your security guard was just a person. I have no words to express how great full my family is. Thank you so much for attending to my father and taking care of my mom and sister.

My trip was to the emergency room with what I believed was a sprained ankle. Results showed a fracture of the fibula.
Dr. Garvey and the staff were great. Very polite and friendly. RN Beverly went out of her way to explain at home care.
Would recommend this hospital highly.
Just what I expected from a small town hospital.

My daughter had a previous surgery, seen her regular Dr. In Santa Fe. Told that her crazy painful symptoms were normal and she’s good to go. Nine days later and ten pounds less we had to bring her to the emergency care for the same issue. Dr. Michael Stephens and the nurses treated us extremely well. So caring & thoughtful . Treated her for a bad infection, provided pain management and and rehydrated her. THANK YOU, Thank you thank you 😊

The nurses, doctors, kitchen staff case manager, surgeon and NP's were awesome. They took such good care of me and worked together to help me find a surgeon. They modified my diet so I could eat real food. They bent over backwards to help me. Definitely five stars!

Went to emergency room as I had a fever and painful and frequent urination. They took me to room even before I had my paperwork filled out. I felt they were very thorough, asked me good questions, and gave me great care while I was there. Dr. Berryman and nurse Michelle were great. We are just visiting the area and it gave me great piece of mind to have my care done here.

I want to say that at first I had trouble contacting the hospital to make an appointment for a CT scan. I panicked because the scan was important . After trying eight times to make contact with a scheduler I felt Noone cared. Turns out,Jolene,the scheduler had tried to reach me via voice mail...but my mailbox was full. Jolene went out of her way to personally call me and reassure me. It was such a relief! I just want the public to know that Sierra Vista hospital came through for me and I appreciate them for their efforts.

I want to thank every staff member from ER to OR. After suffering a month my wonderful Surgeon and his team have made my life so much better. The ER staff is amazing. They are very friendly, helpful, and they just get it. They understand and do everything in their power to try and make it better. So many people talked badly about this hospital. Yes, it may be small, but all the love, care, and support that comes from the people there make it huge. I love it. Thank you all so very much.

I got my COVID vaccination here. The whole process went very smoothly. I didn't even have to get out of my vehicle. The staff I interacted with were all very polite and professional. Glad to be vaccinated.

This is a review for Debra at the PT clinic as well as Wendy, the support staff. I have a condition that causes me to faint if over exerted or positional changes. I have had difficulty maintaining PT for a birth defect in my lower back for this reason. They care about my comfort and Debra researched carefully to ensure that the program isn't harming a pre-existing heart condition, my dysautonomia but still building my core to prepare me for back surgery.

I had to go to the ER. The staff there was caring and very efficient. The nurses and doctors diagnosed my issue and gave what I needed to recover. Thank you all.

Professional, expedient care by Dr Hochhauser when I brought my wife in for an eye infection. Very impressed with the care we received on a Saturday night.
