Excellent, excellent food with friendly and attentive wait staff. The wine list is incredible as are the deserts....highly recommend the coconut-pineapple carrot cake (it was unbelievable). Note: portions are enormous and can easily be shared between 2 people.

The 🍤 🦐 ettoufee was delicious and filling. I harvest Alaskan shrimp, so the Mexican shrimp served was not the best but, we know why I would say that. There was so much food we couldn't finish either of our dishes. The service was so welcoming and kind. It was worth the wait of 14 years. I've heard of this place and finally made the 45 minute trip out of Anchorage. I am excited to go back and try one of their steak meals. Hopefully they'll still have the blueberry cheesecake 🥧 🍰. I would bring a bigger group who likes spicy, synthetic we can try appetizers and different platters. Yumm! 🍸The French Quarter martini was fabulous, although $14 per one was enough. I'd try the double musky next time. 😋

The Double Musky Inn in Alaska offers a cozy ambiance paired with exceptional cuisine. Their fettuccine alfredo pasta is a delightful masterpiece, rich and creamy with perfectly cooked pasta. The flavors are balanced, leaving a lasting impression. Combined with friendly service and a charming atmosphere, dining here is an unforgettable experience.

We were here for our 16th Wedding Anniversary many years ago. Back for our 45th! Always enjoyable. Don't remember how much we spent back then. I'm sure it was less than our most recent visit. Although, food was as great this time as it was years ago.

I've lived in Alaska way too long to have never tried Double Musky until now! We visited for our 6th wedding anniversary and it was lovely. The building screams "Alaskana" and so does the staff. There's a sign on the main road pointing you the right way down to a seemingly small cabin with a great garden outside. We were seated immediately, and the staff was lovely and attentive. The food is a little spendy but totally worth it. Don't let the prices fool you though - the dress code is definitely "Alaska Chic" so wipe down your Xtra tuffs and put on your best Patagonia vest, you'll fit right in. My spouse ordered a steak, which he proclaimed to be the "best steak he's had in Alaska" and I ordered the crab stuffed halibut. The portions were generous and our meal came with deliciously fresh baked bread. We shared a slice of cheesecake at the end and had some delicious cocktails as well. I ordered the margarita - it was unique from your classic marg, but weirdly fit the meal perfectly. If you've got the time and the cash, Double Musky is definitely a must while in Girdwood!

The wait is worth it! This place is amazing food. The prime Rib was perfect! And the salmon was amazing. For dessert we had a fresh blueberry pie with seemed like a cheesecake layer on top. Topped with whipped cream. Love this place 10/10 would come here again.

This place is flipping amazing. Food was divine. Cajun was spot on. Staff was very attentive and helpful.
Quite expensive ($$$$), a great special occasion spot. The Double Musky pie and the Cajun pudding pie thing were fantastic.
My group had a French pepper steak, garlic seafood pasta, and shrimp etouffee. Appetizers were escargot stuffed mushrooms and the cheesy jalapeño shrimp dip. 1000% would go back.
Pro tip: be in line outside 30-45 minutes before they open.

*By far* the best Alaskan Salmon I have ever had. It was impossibly delicious… Perfectly cooked and impeccably seasoned. I am speechless…

I stumbled into here looking for last minute lodging and they took time out help me find the options in town. I was truly grateful for the hospitality and eager to come back and try the food. Everything worked out and I settled in. Came back and ordered the Lamb.

Now I tell ya this was my top 3 lamb I've ever had in my LIFE! It was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The sauce was out of this world. I've been to 38 countries and love trying new places. I'm disappointed I can't have them again right now. The staff is so warm and inviting it has such a second home feel when you walk in. If you want some true down to earth great gourmet cooking with friendly atmosphere, you won't be disappointed here.

Probably my best Alaska meal!

The French Pepper Steak is one of my all time favorite dishes. My family used to live in Alaska and it’s been several years since I had this dish. I had the same meal last night and it was fantastic. The meat was tender and cooked perfectly. The sauce was thick and rich with flavor. The portion is very generous and can be shared. My photo shows half of the steak.
The coconut salmon appetizer now comes over a bed of french fries which makes it more like a meal for someone wanting an Alaskan style fish and chips. The fish was moist and flaky. The coconut crust was sweet and crunchy. The dipping sauce was very flavorful.

Double Musky is a true local favorite.
A little off the beaten path, compared to resort slopeside, or in town, its definitely worth the short drive up Crow Creek Road.
Lots of History, and good atmosphere.
New owners continue to carry on the great food, and service.
Personal favorites are the Halibut Ceviche, and the Jacked up Shrimp.

Got recommendations from locals and they're know what they're talking about. This restaurant didn't disappoint. Just by looking their busy parking lot tells you this place is unique. They have an amazingly delicious dishes that every visitor wants to try. All dishes are fresh and seafood dishes are prepared from local fresh catch. I strongly recommend to visit this hidden gem.

What a fun restaurant! The atmosphere was one of a kind, nestled away in the tall trees. I'm still drooling over the coconut crusted salmon. And wow, the horseradish sauce? Omg.
