Dr. Jon's Urgent Care Center

Tara Williams has been wonderful the many times family and I have seen her over the last year and she also helped a co-worker as recently as yesterday who really needed her help and who is like a new person today! She is knowledgeable and highly competent, and she knows how to practice medicine in a way that gets people correctly diagnosed and properly and promptly treated. Caring is a large part of medicine that she has not forgotten and is a big part of her nature and it conveys through to the treatment of her patients. I highly recommend her!

Received a call from Dr Jon's today Aug 17, lady was very nice. Apologized for the way I was treated and refunded the money I was owed. I'm very satisfied with this resolution.
The lady explained what had happened in April which made me feel better about this whole situation. I will also state that I've used them several times and this was the first issue. The care before has always been wonderful.

On April 24th, I went to Dr Jon's being very ill. I was told that because of my high deductible they would have to do self pay. I was so sick I just agreed. I was running a fever and did not feel like waiting some where else even though I know this is insurance fraud. I paid 99.00 for my visit and then 160.00 for the test they run which I was told was 40.00 each and then on checkout was told the Covid test was 80.00 but billed my insurance 35 each. Yes they billed Anthem after putting self pay and me paying. Anthem also paid them. Anthem says my part was 169 and change so I called to get my 89.00 refunded. They will not answer nor return my money. At the bottom they ask about praying for you, I'm scared.
Insurance fraud at its finest and then we wonder why our insurance keeps going up. I've contacted Anthem and they are now looking into this.

Absolutely Wonderful staff from the front desk to the Dr visit and the blood draw, everyone is so kind and caring. Great place!! Great people!!

Dr. Jon’s is absolutely incredible! The level of service is unlike any other. Lauren Young was one of the best providers I have ever seen. They all have smiles and they go out of their way to care for your children. I could not recommend this facility more.

Been seeing my primary care Kristi here for a few months now and have been very satisfied. All three of my children have had to come here also on a walk on basis before and we have never had a problem....yes sometimes there's a wait but that's anywhere that is a walk-in urgent care. Every doctor we've ever seen has been very knowledgeable and helpful and are very thorough.

They always are so nice and they take care of what you come in for. Got to say they are very good. Highly recommended.

Great people and friendly atmosphere. I was seen promptly and all my needs were taken care of. Scheduling an appointment on line was easy and I was called back quickly. Kristi was great and got my blood pressure under control quickly. I would highly recommend this facility and will definitely be going back for my healthcare needs.

I can't say enough about how GREAT Kristi Jones is as a provider. She always listens to everything I have to say and answers all of my questions. She is very professional and very educated in her profession. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but she is so lovely to speak with at appointments. I always walk away very impressed with my overall experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility and Kristi Jones FNP.

My mom, my son, and I went to Dr. Jon’s yesterday, and we could not have had a better experience! Everyone was was polite and professional. My mom and son was positive for Covid, I was not, but they treated us with kindness and respect.They actually care that you are sick, and will try to help you! We will definitely go back if we need to! Thank you all for the job well done!

Dr Kristi Jones is absolutely amazing!!!! Her bedside manor makes you immediately comfortable. Dr Jones has an easy going and outgoing personality and will help to keep you calm in what could be a stressful situation. She is genuinely concerned about your problems and listens before asking questions to help pinpoint the problems. She will often offer suggestions outside of the medications that are prescribed that may also help. I highly recommend her!!!!!!

Dr. Jon’s office has always been so kind, welcoming, and helpful to my health care needs. Kristi Jones (nurse practitioner) does an amazing job and is always so kind and caring when working with patients!

The nurses and staff are the calmest and most gracious people you’ll ever meet. Great service and great people who really take the time and care make up this office.

Just want to state how disgusted I am with the way I was treated. Was made to sit outside for an hour and a half. Finally thought to ask to come inside but when I started walking towards Lauren Young she started gripping her clipboard & pulled her arms together as if she was disgusted to be in within 25 feet of me. I asked if I could come inside after being outside that long & with attitude she replied "No" then my dad said "we have been sitting out here for an hour and a half " she replied (with attitude) "we are doing all we can & she came without an appointment" (which they gave me an appointment over the phone & let people that arrived there after me go before me. ) she threatened to make us sit & wait even longer & I then wanted to leave. I asked for her to bring out my ID & she says "you don't tell me what to do" I do not recommend anybody going to this place. If I could give below 1 star I would do exactly that! But since I want this review to make it on the front of the page I'll give it 5 :)

Dr Jon is hands down the best doctor I've ever had. When you are sick, not only will he get to the bottom of what is wrong, but he will pray for you. Prayer is the most powerful tool we have as christians. I highly recommend Dr. Jon and everyone that works for him.

I used to be very pleased with this office but after my visit in June I explained to the doctor that I was having another gout flare and he insisted I had an infection in my foot instead. He ordered blood and before having the chance to check my uric acid levels gave me a antibiotic injection. I explained that it was gout and also explai ed that when I have gout flare ups I am unable to walk for 2-3 weeks even with treatment due to the severity. So I called today to ask for a letter stating why I was there and how that could lead to me being out of work for sometimes 3 weeks at a time and was told by a nurse that "we ordered you to come back for a second blood test the following day and you never came" (which is a lie because I did show up that day and had to wait in a hot car for over an hour until they got a chance to see me) she ended the conversation by telling me "we will not release any of you medical information for a court document because you didnt show up for your second scheduled appointment" which is a HIPAA violation. Will NOT return to this doctors office because apparently if youre not giving them money, theyre not giving you your medical information.

Usually I would delete the previous review and rewrite a new one but given the circumstances I will leave the first part and shed some light on a recent conversation I had with Dr. Jon himself. He took the time to reply to my review and even look up my number and call me personally. He reviewed my medical issues over the phone and asked what the problem was and we had a long conversation about it. He agreed that things were handled wrong and that was out of his control but ensured that it wouldnt happen again. As far as the antibiotic inkection I received he explained it to me and why it was administered, which made alot of sense. I am Thankful that Dr Armando (I hope I spelled that right) had took the time to cover all possible reasons for my medical condition. Unfortunately things didnt go well when I called for my paper work and Dr. Jon ENSURED that would never happen to anyone again. The reason I changed my review from 1 star to 5 star is because he didnt have to reach out and fix the issue. But because he did I will ensure people know that this is a good place to go and if you do have an issue take the time to explain it to Dr. Jon and I guarantee he will try everything in his power to fix it as long as it is in the best interest of your health and well-being. Thank you Dr. Jon.

We love Dr. Kristi! She has the sweetest personality while always showing the utmost professionalism and compassion. We highly recommend her.

You could not ask for better care from a medical office. They get you back in a timely manner without an appointment, smiling and caring faces every time you walk in the door, and they ALWAYS ask if they can pray for you. How many offices in the WORLD give you that kind of love and compassion? I will always go to this office if there is ever a need. Thank you all for what you do!
