Max's Place

It was our first time here 03/01/2024, I came out with my hubby & kiddos. Good atmosphere & great costumer service & food was great! I loved it! Even my kids enjoyed themselves! I enjoyed my red sangria while listening to the joiner brothers play, they were awesome! Will definitely be back for date nights

May be an old name but it’s a brand new restaurant, bar, and grill. Kid friendly with games, live bands ,video games, and more! Food is top notch! Staff is very accommodating. Bartender is generous! Must come and eat.

The owners talked to us like he’s known us forever! The steak and catfish plate was amazing and the live music was awesome! Sorry I didn’t get any pictures, life’s more fun without your phone in your hand!

OMG! Definitely try this place! I had the Captains platter and it was incredible! The Ribeye was so seasoned and cooked perfectly, the Crab Legs were a perfect size & Shrimp as well. Very Flavorful. I drove over from Hogansville I enjoy trying local restaurants to regular chains. THIS IS A MUST TRY!

It was a VERY busy night. They were low on staff so it took a while to get service. BUT waitresses did the best they could and food & music were good. Overall a good experience and we will be back.

Came here on a few recommendations, and I was not disappointed. The food was very good. It definitely seems like a cool place to hang out on a Friday or Saturday night also.

Awesome catfish and fixings! The catfish is perfectly seasoned and fried. The cole slaw, hush puppies, and fries are delicious. Attentive servers take care of you and the food came right away.

Love Max's Place, my favorite restaurant in Franklin. Lots of food variety and lots of room to spread out. Best onion rings around! Also love their shrimp!

Great food! Hand pattied burgers, onion rings, fries, and you have to try the " yucky" Brussel sprouts 😋 .
The atmosphere was just plain, but there is plenty of seating for a group of friends.
It's a little hard to find but well worth the visit!

We was in town for a concert and took a chance on this place. IT WAS DELICIOUS WITH THE BEST SERVICE! Everything from the appetizers to steaks to crab legs to fries and burgers was absolutely awesome! A Jewel!

We ate there today Oh My Mrs Angie cooked the steaks just perfect they were so tender and good all of the food was great and the waitress were awesome too our wait time was less than 30 minutes it was all Great we will be back and the prices are very reasonable too

We stopped at Max’s on their 3rd anniversary!!!
We had smothered chicken and whole fried catfish. Both meals had good sized portions and were very tasty! We will definitely go back next time we’re in the area.

I ate there tonight. It was amazing delicious. The atmosphere was awesome and so were the waitresses and the owners. I will definitely be there again!

Me and my wife had an awesome experience at Max's yesterday. We had the fried mushrooms which I'm not a fan of but my wife asked me to try one. I found myself eating more. I don't know what they season them with but they were awesome. Lol. I ordered the Western Sirloin which was cooked to perfection! My wife ordered the blue cheese burger and I tried a bite or 2 of it. It was scrumptious! We will most definitely be returning and if you haven't tried them out you don't know what you're missing.

Awesome catfish and Steak. They have real potatoes and great salad dressing. The service was excellent and very kind.

Gotta check this place out folks! It's hands down the BEST place to eat in town. The Steaks are out of this world. They offer a great selection of food and have great prices. My boyfriend got their steak and I got the catfish dinner. Man you gotta check it out. Our Server was Terri. She was super friendly and attentive. She's a hoot. Lol. She offered the daily special but we ordered differently. So apparently they have daily special as well.

A delicious Saturday night meal at Max's! Had Tachos for an appetizer! Yummy good! Think nachos with tater tots!!! My dad & I both had the most delicious ribeyes! In the last couple of years food quality & service have gone down the tubes,, but not at Max's! Consistently great food and service!! My last few trips to Outback & Longhorns were disappointments! I was thinking that I'd lost my taste for steak. Nope- just for mediocre steak. Max's proved to me that I'm still a carnivore!!! Amazing !
