El Maya Mexican Restaurant

12/23 had dinner here Tonight for company Christmas dinner. Had the Hawaiian fajitas, on my goodness they were delicious. A must try. I had a large margarita as well, so good. I think this is my new favorite restaurant.

10/22 Texas fajitas. Mmmm, so good. Shrimp, chicken and steak. Delicious!

Yum! Went here for the first time and will be back! Quick service, my meal came in less than 10 minutes. AMAZING margaritas. Staff was considerate and respectful of my food allergies and double checked their ingredients to ensure I felt comfortable. Thankyou!

Food was wonderful and the waitress was nice! She kept our chips coming until the meal came.

This is right around the corner from where I live and I absolutely love their food. The food is always spot on, and the desert is great. They have great margaritas but I don't recommend ordering other drinks as they're not as good.

My husband and two of our friends went last night and said it was absolutely wonderful and that we will absolutely come back. I’m sorry I didn’t make it with them but I will in the future.

I read a couple of bad reviews about this place but we liked it a lot. Great Carne Asada, Chicken tacos, fried ice cream. Maybe those reviewers were at a different place.

What a great surprise, stop on my way to Virginia, the food was delicious, was so good that this is my first time giving a review to a restaurant. Thanks to the ladies that worked there. Nice food, nice workers, nice price. No complaints.

I have visited El Maya several times now and just love it. I love Mexican food and this place is very good. The service, cleanliness, food and prices are impressive. For those familiar with the area, this restaurant occupies the former Traders Chicken spot. I'm particularly fond of the big beers served in icy mugs. @delmarvalicious

Great food and staff. Every dish you order is delicious! I wish they had a bit more space in the dining room, but booths and table are comfortable.

Nice little unassuming Mexican restaurant. The menu is HUGE! I was in heaven because they had chorizo! I had a chorizo taco to go with enchiladas special and a couple of fabulous Modelo Especial. I can rarely finish or taste meals because of my oral cancer, but I cleaned the plate here.
Did I mention Very reasonable? My only 2 negatives...I couldn't eat the chips that came with salsa but my wife said that were fabulous. A couple of the waitresses were wearing these fantastic El Maya t shirts which I so wanted to buy, but they didn't have any. 😩
Very, very pleasant servers as well as great music playing.
The restaurant came recommended by the owner of the motel that we were staying at on our way back home to SC.

Enjoy taking the kids here! There are 6 of us, it's one of the few places we can still go out to eat reasonably priced now. Servers are always friendly, dip is good, some of our favorites are the Fajita Taco salad and the enchiladas.

Best steak fajitas and chicken I have ever had in a Mexican restaurant, priced right too ,service was excellent, loved the chips and white sauce I can't wait til I get to Maryland again just to eat their delicious food

My friend and I stopped in for lunch today. Service was very good. My chicken fajitas and margarita were delicious She was very happy with beef chimichangas. We both had leftovers and will return when we're in the area..

Yesterday was the first time I ordered here. I was in the mood for Authentic Mexican food. We ordered take out to bring home. Once home we enjoyed the deliciously fresh items. Will be ordering again real soon. If you're in the area please pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed.

This is hands down the best place me and my son have EVER been! The food is so fresh and tasty. Its served quickly. The people that work here are so kind. It might be a typical Mexican restaurant, but to me its literal heaven!!! Every get up and come here right away. You simply cannot be disappointed in the slightest!!!! There food is so fresh and organic.

Food is great, friendly staff and very accommodating to specific meal needs of the individual. I had an odd request and so did my friend and our meals turn out really good. Fajitas was extremely soft and tender, rice chicken and cheese tasted great. Nice atmosphere and close by to everything. Not so pricey
