Chef's Fried Chicken

Wow… this is THE BEST fried chicken. Got some great cornbread too. Food comes out quick hot and ready. The chicken has a good kick to it. Good workers. All in all a very good trip. Will be going again

If you want some delicious chicken, GO TO CHEF'S. its ways fresh. The cornbread is amazing. I usually dont get the other sides except for fries. The white cake melts in your mouth, my husband loves it. Friendly atmosphere. The people and the patrons are always nice.

I’ve ordered the fish Poboy two different times now. Each time I served the best fish poboy I’ve ever had. The bread has that thin crunch on the outside with the soft inside. The fish is the same. It’s perfect.

My late father, Frank, managed here for many years. It will always be a fond childhood memory of him and his chicken shack. Afte4 all these years of living out of reach, The food tastes just like when I was young.

I've always heard how good the food was, but had never been. Why did I wait so long to go here?! Delicious! Had the shrimp poboy with onion rings and my son had a cheeseburger poboy. Both were amazing!

We visited D'ville in June right when everything was opening back up post Covid restrictions. We ordered a chicken bucket and WOWZA! There was a ton of chicken in the bucket. Lucky for my husband and sons who lovvve fried chicken because it was literally the best fried chicken they have ever had. My husband talks about Chef's fried chicken and tells everyone about it. lol The shoe soles are delicious as well. We wanted to try other of their sides but they were out of a lot of things, probably due to just opening back up or us being just past the lunch rush. If you like fried chicken, try Chef's. If you don't live close by, you will be sad to not find another like it.

Been coming here since I was in my momma's womb, I'm 33 now. And everything still taste the same & bring back all of our after Sunday's services. This is my momma's favorite chicken place. She get two peices of chicken with fries, cornbread and a jalapeno pepper.

Food was really good, but the language of one employee was really embarrassing. He came from the kitchen acting like a thug and was proud of it to two of his friends. It's his job not a social event his behavior and the content of what he was saying was appalling..being a fool to empress others is not good for business you never know who's watching..just one man's opinion 😉

My first time trying it. Everything was hot and fresh!!! Chicken was crispy and well seasoned. Fries were HOT, like I like them. Great customer service. I will be visiting again soon.

Stopped in for Shoe Soles while in Donaldsonville. Got gingerbread cake and a brownie too. Great sweets.

My favorite fried chicken ever. The fried chicken livers are pretty good too. Been coming here forever. Definitely worth the trip. Highly recommend.

Fried chicken wings were delicious a long with happy waitress. The prices are a bit steep. They would get more business if prices are lowered a bit.

chef chicken is a good fast food place in d.ville i love there poboys you can order half and half. and there food line is the bomb. so when my family come to town we do eat at famous chef chicken with there frendly service and nice prices.located in donaldsonville la 70346

I went through the drive through and place a order which the lady at the window helped me with. The food was very good. Don't pass it by if you like chicken!

Daily lunches are good. Chicken is very good. Get a side of sweet corn bread. Don't forget exceptional sweets.
