Bayside Inn Restaurant

Delicious crab cake sandwich and friendly waiter! What a unique food to this region! The fries were also pretty good and it’s right by the dock so you can grab something to eat after the ferry.

Really enjoyed visiting Smith Island and the Bayside Inn Restaurant. We had a map of the island and journeyed around right off the ferry checking out the history. We came back to Bayside Inn for lunch after the crowd thinned out and had a delicious meal. The ferry ride was so delightful too! Our Smith Island Cake was everything we hoped for! Thanks for the great memories!

Enjoyed the Combo Platter: Crab cake, soft crab and fried shrimps…the soft crab tops the palate! Service was great and local island atmosphere.

The best and most convenient place to eat while visiting Smith Island. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food was tasty too.
We'll be back again!

Southern maryland crab done right, Beautiful people and beautiful atmosphere.

Great food and staff. Dry Island so if you want a drink to enjoy the sunset, you'll have to bring your own. Cream of crab soup was the best I've ever had. Crab cakes were good too.

Bayside has a wonderful island atmosphere that is perfectly suited to the Smith Island culture. The laid back and super friendly people there made our day trip a great experience ! Their crab cakes were on point !

All Staff were attentive and prompt. Very kind Sorry don't remember everyones name We but do remember the lovely cashier Emma. We had Pleasant conversation and she was informative about the Island . Food was excellent, affordable selections .

Fantastic food, great service and an incredible setting. It's Smith Island, so you HAVE to have the cake, we tried the wet coconut and it was mind-blowing. Local, fresh caught seafood expertly prepared.

Tbh I expected mediocre food but was pleasantly surprised. It was really delicious!!!!. I would definitely order food here again. Loved the mac salad and cole slaw. The fish was also really delicious!!

Great place. I loved the Corn Pudding and the Smith Island cake, I highly recommend this place. The island is so quiet and beautiful.

Fresh seafood and very friendly staff! Server was knowledgeable about my dietary restrictions. Menu is limited but we managed to find something for everyone.
