Really good menu if you love breakfast, especially. Many kinds of omelets. Mine was prepared with thin layers, like a crepe, but still filling. We also enjoyed strawberry & banana Crepes Suzette... What a treat! The photos on the walls would be a delight for any lover of local history or just railroad bridges and paddle wheelers. Quaint river town.

The food is delicious and the cost is reasonable. Old country atmosphere and Waite Staff is incredible. Can't say enough about this place.

The food was excellent. The waitress was so nice. It's a great atmosphere and it's not expensive. I really enjoyed my experience.

My husband and I had a great meal. I had the catfish that was amazing. My husband had the barbecue brisket sandwich which was amazing also.

We were staying at the marina for some fishing. We ate here every day, twice a day, for several days. Everyone was pleasant. The food was always good. We will sure to return on our next trip.

We came in for breakfast and it was good. They kept our coffee full, and the prices are very reasonable.
I think my entire breakfast was less than $8, and o had biscuits and gravy (which comes with 2 full biscuits) an egg, and a sausage patty. Plus coffee and a small chocolate milk. So I thought less than $8 was very reasonable.

My wife and I went here this morning for the first time. Great down home atmosphere. Terrific staff, and delicious breakfast. Because, I was so hungry, I timed how long it would take to get our food. We had our plates in front of us in less than 10 minutes. This is very important as I've been told I get "hangry". We will going back very soon.

Fred is a great cook! This restaurant has so much history on the the walls! The experience is worth a drive! His staff is very attentive and extremely nice!! The menu has something for anyone!! Thank you Fred for providing such an amazing place to eat!

Pancakes and turkey sausage was delicious. Service was great. Talked to the customers and a little lady was celebrating her birthday. Wonderful place for eating. Cash and checks are only excepted. 😊😉

Finest breakfast in all of Missouri. (Closed Tuesdays). Well worth a side trip. Biscuits and gravy are awesome. Hash browns are perfectly cooked crispy. The Town is quaint but I'd go for the breakfast.

Very good dine in restraint. Old pictures of the Historic location, of what was at one time a booming community. They not only were a way to cross the Mighty Missouri, but, also a Railroad town.
This place is absolutely covered in beautiful old pictures from the 1800's up until present day! Great place to find!

If you want local... If you want home cooked... If you want the best breakfast combo anywhere...this is your place. Norman Rockwell painting type of atmosphere. This is the "coffee shop" you hear about.
