Waters Edge Cafe

We were pleasantly surprised at what a good lunch we had. Bradford was our server and he was very friendly and attentive. The fried chicken, sides, and crabby fries were all delicious and homemade. We would definitely return and try some other options especially during the summer months when it is nicer. The place is nothing fancy, but then again prices very reasonable and not over inflated. Good sweet tea and he made a fresh pot of coffee for us which we appreciated.

Amazing waitstaff and friendly customers. We started with wet cornbread which is a childhood favorite of mine. Then crabby fries, cheese crab dip on top of boardwalk fries. Main dishes were both dinner specials. Stuffed flounder and CrabCakes dinner both with two sides. They offered many side dish options. It was nice to see their lunch and dinner specials posted on their Facebook. We didn’t leave room for dessert. Wish we would’ve taken dessert to go.

Great southern style home cooking! Their crab balls are the best! Service is a bit slow when they're crowded but our server, Ethan, was doing his best to make everyone happy. There's a good view of the City Dock if you sit by the windows.

Water's Edge Cafe is a great place to eat lunch or dinner. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. Mary&Dan go out of their way to ensure a great meal. Having the owners on site even making and serving the food is a plus. Give it a try.

This nice little Ice cream shop near the waterfront on main Street is attached to the Waters Edge Cafe. Our server was friendly, and the I liked the decor. IThe ice cream was quite good. We rode our bicycles here from Milburn Landing Campground at Pocomoke River State Park

The Pros:
Down Home Dining! Eats were authentic scratch kitchen delicious & generously portioned 😋 Our server Fallon was Fantastic on eats suggestions! The jr. host {Gabe 😍} was super adorable, pleasant and informative! My husband had the Crab Cake & Fries which he loved and I had the tasty piled high West Coast Reuben with fries & sweet stewed tomatoes. The house-made ice cream with toasted pineapple stuffing was a perfect finish to a yummy meal!

The Con:
No Fried Chicken 😔 all sold out so it must be good stuff! (We'll be back to try some)....

If I could give Waters Edge Cafe more stars I would! Amazing home style food , amazing service. Six of us dined in, we each got something different, and it was all wonderful. We tried to go there for dinner the next night, but were disappointed that they were closed on Tuesdays. Wish I lived closer.

We came for breakfast and dinner right before heading over to Smith Island. Everything we ordered was absolutely DELICIOUS. Got the crab cake special with mashed potatoes. Was sooooo good! Had a lot of crab and no unnecessary breading filling.

The people that work here and the owner were all so nice. If I lived closer I would come here all the time. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area

We had the loaded baked potato soup and the chicken tender baskets. Everything was delicious and Mariah was a great server. Super sweet, friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed it.

This is a lovely little local restaurant. The food is good and the people are friendly. The chicken salad is fantastic. Today we were waited on by a very polite and charming young man who went out of his way to provide excellent service. Thank you all for an enjoyable supper.

Stopped in on the way to Smith Island and had the best soft shell I've ever had.
Came back for dinner after and got the ribs and burnt ends which were also amazing. Very personal feel and relaxing environment

The food was really good! I was a bit taken back by the stewed tomatoes as I had never had them with cinnamon but it was surprisingly yummy! The cornbread is delish, homemade southern style... wish I had the recipe. Crab cakes were amazing and not much filler and what little filler it had was very tasty. My husband loved his Rueben sandwich too.

Our server (I’m terrible with names) was I believe Anna or Annie... anyway she was brand new and you would have never know it if I hadn’t thrown her a curveball with having a milk allergy. She checked the items for milk and was thorough. Very attentive and kind. Next time we come to Chincoteague area will stop in Crisfield just to have lunch here.

Nestled in the small town of Crisfield, Waters Edge Cafe is a must stop when visiting or traveling down the Eastern Shore. The location has two dining areas, a more conventional restaurant as well as a retro themed restaurant with ice cream and soda fountains. The options of food were slightly more limited than other American food options in Crisfield, but the quality was excellent. The East Coast Reuben was particularly good, with melt in your mouth corn beef. The waitress and waiter who helped us that evening were respectful and very friendly. All in all, Waters Edge Cafe is an excellent Crisfield establishment. If you’re visiting Crisfield proper or simply passing by, stop in! You won’t regret it.

This is such a cute, well created, retro diner. Hidden in a small town, nestled near the Chesapeake Bay. While having a small meal I kept having thoughts of Leave it to Beaver, and The Andy Griffith Show, or American Graffiti.

I love chili and i am convinced their chili is the best i ever had and would win any contest. Just make sure after you try it you leave some for us.

It is just a diner but the food is really good. I got the stuffed broiled flounder with mac and cheese and baked bean with burger in it as a side and wet cornbread. It was definitely a five star meal. Would get it again if I get back to Crisfield. The place has a hometown atmosphere with good service.

You will really enjoy the crab imperial. It is an exceptional dish. Also the crabby fries are amazing. Just a happy place with great service and hometown food.

The food is beyond delicious, and the service is genuinely great! The burger was 10/10 amazing. Staff was so nice, and knew the menu back and front. Great place. Really great! I'd add a photo of the food, but I already devoured it all lol

Place was clean, food was excellent. Staff friendly and attentive. It was an accidental find.
